He needs to set them up properly. He hasn't done that in the last two weeks - and I'm a fan of his.

He has mitigating circumstances to point to, of course, but he needs to be getting more out of these players now. He was brought in to improve us. He has - to a point - but yesterday was prime Lampard. Needs to do better.

We have 12 points from 11 games which over a full season would have us on 42 points and finishing 12th or 13th.

Just how much better should we be with this squad ?

There’s 7 games left and only one of them against a big 6 team and that’s at home. Absolutely no reason we can’t take points. If we don’t then we’ll go down simple as that. Crying it in thought before it’s even happened is bizarre. We beat Arsenal at home and took points away at City and Chelsea. We’ve also lost at home to Southampton. No results are predictable. We’re not certain to stay up but by the same token we’re not certain to go down.

Thats spot on.

I think the disppontemnt was that we've hit some poor form right at the wrong time.

Three points yserday would have given us some distance from Leicester, the only team in the current bottom three who I fear coming alive.

To get any results though we have to have Coleman, Onana, Docoure all back.

Fair one, although all teams Fighting relegation generally pick up more points at the business end of the season…

If you’re a Leeds fan you want 2 wins from the next 4 as their last 4 games our probably the most difficult of any team down there
Yeah, I've seen enough of Leeds this season though to see that they can take their chances and win a game. They also have 2 points on us and better GD.

Unless Dyche sparks another revival like the first 7/8 games he had here Leicester are the team we have to keep at bay. Who knows what that'll take.

I said all season 36 points will get you safe and I think that's definitey the case now. I just dont see us getting it currently. Our form has dipped badly and our next fixture is away at a team that's flying.

We needed a win yesterday for confidence and a cushion. We got neither and for that reason I see us - at this moment in time - as finishing 18th.

I think there will be such an incredibly high player turnover, with young lads coming in to replace a lot of our proven failures, that he'll be more than capable of bringing us back up. With that said, he's set us up wrong the past 2 games. We had a formula that we working and he seemingly binned it due to one player being out injured which worries me a bit.
I like Dyche and would, in all likelihood, stick with him come what may. But nobody can pretend that the last two games were up to scratch.

He's got a terrible squad, through no fault of his own, and got some very respectable results in very tough fixtures. But not much point doing that if you're not going to capitalise when those fixtures become a tad more favourable.

So, we can overlook Fulham at home as an aberration - but not if we get more of the same at Palace. We need results now.

Injuries and a red card stuffed him mate to be fair. He can't replicate that formula when he has Davies, Garner and Patterson to replace Onana, Doucoure and Seamus. We're wafer thin and unless that exact 11 are available pronto who were in that 5 game run of an unchanged side we're knackered.

I just do not get how we've been at this game since 2016 and every time it's the manager that shoulders all of the blame 🤣
The board shoulders the blame. I am talking about having confidence in the manager being the right man for the long haul if we see repeats of yesterday's shambolic no-show. I'm not saying he should be sacked - far from it, I'd stick with him regardless - but the last two performances have shaken my confidence in a manager I rate. I think he needs to up his own game, in terms of set-up.
