I don't go to many games these days but I went on Saturday. I just wanted one of those non stress games where it just clicks and we coast a win. Feels like the first time in a long time it's happened. If you have six or so of them a season + the nail biters and draws. It sees you over the line comfortably. It's the kind of comfort we had not too long ago and most the Moyes era.

You have to go to them all now mate or you’ll put the mockers on us. ;)

Think this could be the first season that 40 points doesn’t guarantee safety. I don’t think a team has been relegated with 40 plus points anyway?

West Ham went down on 42 in 2003. They were 16 points ahead of nineteenth, and ten points out of eighth.

The league was won on 83 points. In general, for a club to get relegated on 40+ points the top and extreme bottom of the league have to be poor by historical standards. I don't think the top of the league is poor this season. Where we're at is more likely to yield a season like 2016/17, where a few sides distinguish themselves as abject relatively late on.

Last season, Norwich and Watford 'booked' two relegation spots. This season, the league does not have that 'preordainment'. It's going to be a right royal tussle imo.
A couple of teams will get detached come January February then it will be one of about 4-5 teams until the end.

Il go with Forest Bournemouth Southampton i also think Brighton are going to be right in the mix come the end.

You're going for an almighty crumble by Brighton? They've already got nearly half the points they need to stay up. They have too much quality to finish anywhere near the bottom five imo, but bigger clubs have plummeted I guess.
