Why would Silva want to get one over on us?

Of all the managers in the last 20 years, he’s probably the one who had absolutely no aggro with the fans.

We all wanted it to work even til the very end.

Silva, being a professional, probably wanted to win the game, and we sat there and rolled over.

Wasn't there one game when everyone was chanting "sacked in the morning" at him just before the final whistle? Must've been losing 2-0 to Norwich which was his last home game.

From looking at his comments pre match I think he had more issues with the board than fanbase.

I think Fulham will have a decent end of the season as that win will give them good confidence so certainly expect them to beat Leeds the state they're in and they should get something off Southampton and Leicester aswell if motivated.

I don’t no Fulham have looked crap except against us. I think that was because silva got them fired up to get one over us. Hopefully Fulham beat them tho.
Odd comment as Fulham were having a very good season until they hit a bit of a slump culminating in having their striker sent off.
They recovered their form against us inevitably largely because we are relegation rubbish.

Sorry to repeat this, as I said it in the lead up to the Fulham game, but if we couldn't beat them at GP that crowd of wasters don't deserve to stay in the PL.

I actually amended the above as I was about to say "we don't deserve"...

Then I realised that we, the supporters of this magnificent Club, do not deserve to see those dog turds that dare to turn out and faff around while wearing the RBJ and collecting a fortune. I have lost the will in terms of those charlatan leeches.

If Everton are relegated, I will remain a true Blue - to my death.

I want this Club to be completely wiped clean of the tumours that have brought us to where we are now. Then we rebuild - and it may take years.

We cannot continue watching absolute dross season after season and being a laughing stock.

Our legendary players and managers that have passed on must be spinning in their graves.

He needed to go towards the end.

When he came and up to the Pickford Derby, we were playing some amazing football. He struggle to recover, aside from a slight resurgence at the end of that season. I have no issue with silva, it was too much too soon, and I feel for any manager in this circus.

Hopefully them having Leeds next is a positive, I just hope Leeds doing pull off a result like they did when they played Wolves.

They lost 4 in a row and some was against other relegation rubbish at the time Bournemouth and west ham. They turned up to goodison we was crap fair enough but they hadn’t been turning up anywhere after the FA Cup game. Hopefully they have a good end to the season now.

So this Leeds team look to have imploded.

Extend the fight to between Everton, Leeds and Leicester for that final relegation place.

Three of the last 4 games they've conceded 4, 5 and 6.

Their fixtures on the run in:

Fulham A
Leicester H
B'mouth A
City A
Newcastle H
WHU A
Spurs H

1 win in 13 says your fat mate was taking us down if we hadn’t put him out of his misery.

Difference between deserving to be sacked and relegating us. Benitez deserved to go but he left us in 16th, 4 points above the bottom 3 spots with half a season still to play.

The fact it took that Tory divvy until fixture 37/38 to have us safe with Richarlison up top tells you all you need to know about that bluffer.

If we drop this season he should never be welcome in this city ever again imo.

I’m the same mate, and I’ve felt like that in the past.

Let the record books cook, and take a year below to clear the deadwood. But with the recent FFP charge, and the EFL having no prisoners when it comes to sanctions, I just don’t want that.

I want to take my children to watch Everton, and not AFC Everton. It’s sad were in this position. It’s pathetic that we could turn out a performance like we did against Fulham.

11 players who simply done care, week in, week out.

It was still the best time to play them. 5 consecutive defeats. As i think it was the same with spurs. Both sides were fragile and we had them both at goodison. 1 point from a possible 6 against these two out of form sides has hurt us badly. If you want to stay up i think those two fixtures were 4 points minimum needed.

rs do us big favour.
Thank God for that big galoot Nunez, it maybe crucial.
Strange days Indeed.

We're still next to bottom on GD in a 6 team mini league though - but it ain't over.
Comes down to who we get on the pitch for us.

We're different to Leicester and Leeds in that respect. They're getting pretty much their strongest teams out there. It doesn;'t seem to make a difference thiugh.

When we have our settled first eleven out on the pitch it makes a massive difference.

If we get Onana back and Coleman and Doucore when his suspension ends we get solid and pick up points again.

Our fate rests with those three getting back in the team.

4 points above the bottom three counts as being in relegation trouble.
He inherited a functioning team from Ancelotti and took us down the league.
Anyway he’s history now ,that battles already been fought.

I’d put them as favourites to win one game in that run, Leicester at home. They’re right in the mire

I'm amazed that Leeds have as many points as they do.

After the game at Goodison a few weeks ago, I'd have had no complaints if the Premier League had voted to relegate both teams with immediate effect for bringing the sport into disrepute.

It was like one of those Audley Harrison fights that the BBC were getting licence fee refund letters over.
