We need to claw some points from somewhere.

Other clubs doing their best to stay down there.

Changed very quickly though in the space of two weeks. There were 9 in it(8 if you count southampton gone) It now looks more 2 from 4 of leicester forest Everton and leeds. Palace wolves and bournemouth have flown. West ham are 50/50.

Just been looking at these myself. Critical couple of weeks coming up for Leeds. If they fail to win any of them three games, which could easily happen, they could find themselves in deep trouble come May.

Our own position isn't that dissimilar. At least one win against Palace, Newcastle and Leicester is absolutely vital. Losing to Leicester doesn't bear thinking about, and that's a tough one, King Power under the floodlights.

Somehow we have to start winning away from home. Do we have it in us ??

If it does all come down to the final day, yes we're at home to Bournemouth, but Leicester are home to West Ham, and Forest are away at Palace, so just about anything could happen.
The importance of Leeds' last two maulings is that it places them in a tailspin and it broadens out our relegation fight.

From an Everton perspective - now that Leeds have refused to get themselves clear twice - the Leeds v Leicester game is an unexpected bonus.

Dave. I was at Elland ROAD on business for the palace match and was told implicitly that at half time there was an all mighty barney between players and management.
Music to my ears.

Sounds like they've rebelled there tonight.

If Leeds get done by Fulham and then Leicester then I cant see them getting much in the final 5 games either.

I've always thought 36 points would be enough for us. I think it's there for us if we get our starting players back.

Ok, we saw Dyche and the players screw that chance up on Saturday v Fulham. But S'ton, Forest, Leicester and Leeds all getting beat very much softens the blow. There were no unexpected wins for that lot that would have made a bad loss even worse. So I think we've dodged a bullet this week....and tbh, I think most weeks will be like that for those other 4: they'll be beaten regularly. We have to get 9 points from somewhere and we'll be safe. I'm convinced we can. We just need our CM restored.

I reckon 34 may do it

Could be mate.

I'm encouraged by that 2nd Leeds collapse in 8 days. They really are stumbling badly now.

And I still dont buy into all this "Leicester will get a bounce" malarkey.

The way some of our supporters have gone all in on Leicester as survivors is crazy. They literally cant get a win and have been a disaster since the restart after the WC...but somehow they'll get 11 points from their last 21 and stay up....because....erm...we lost against Fulham!

Sacking a manager with 6 games to go if he loses his next game. Talk about rolling the dice it took them awhile to identify and get him in so how many games would the new man get like 4 to save them it’s a massive risk.
If I were them I’d sack him and get Warnock in after the boost he gave Huddersfield....knows the club and knows how to scrap.

If we get Onana, Coleman, Yerald, Doucore and the invisible man back in the side we have a better chance of staying up. Time to take Keane, Mykolenko/Godfrey, Maupay and Davies away from the starting 11 and immediate subs bench.
I’d take Coady and Holgate over Keane, purely on the basis that when his confidence isn’t on point he’s prone to horrendous displays.
