you surely have to think if Soton spring one here, Leciester win tomorrow and we dont, the odds plunge on us going down massively.

None of them have wasted it on the scale we did. We have made about 3 decent signings in the past 7 years.

The two aren’t mutually exclusive. Doesn’t matter how much we wasted, there’s no good reason as to why a top 6 club is able to spin the wheel multiple times yet we’re not allowed to despite having an owner who would. It’s got nothing to do with how well or not the money is spent.
