In terms of actual quality of performances on the pitch we currently look comfortably the worst in the league.
Our performances were fine before Doucoure acted a knob and then last game without Onana and Coleman on top of that we were awful.

Onana should be back today, Doucoure only out one more game.

The margins are so fine down the bottom an injury or two could have the final say. If we played Leicester without Barnes, Maddison, Tielemans I think we’d beat them, even away but if we rocked up there without Onana, Doucoure and Coleman they’d ruin us.

I dont think the quality of performances were fine at all. It was just bog standard Dyche ball, grinding out a couple of wins and some draws, sprinkled with some hammerings.

Chickens have come home to roost certainly in the last 2 games, but lets not put lipstick on a pig here. You can argue we dont have the players at our disposal, but thats not the point I'm making.

If you are worse ( which not sure you are ) then we would be a close second.

In this last phase of the season the teams I always fear playing against were those teams that still had to fight for in the league that isn’t just about winning the league or indeed qualification for Europe it’s as much about fighting relegation.

Put that together with how your fixtures fall in terms of home and away and I think you still need between 7&10 points and for me that is well doable but it has to start by you get something from the Palace game

I personally can’t visualise a PL without Everton and yes you are struggling ( as are we ) but this season has been like no other in that the WC has helped some clubs, hindered some in terms of the number of games played prior to the November break but injuries are stacking up all over the place and that for me is something that could in a blink of an eye change the whole landscape

Isn't that exactly what Dyche was brought in to do? Everton was not going to start a rebuilding exercise to transform the playing style in Jan, the single and most important objective was to get a new manager to help Evefton avoid relegation and this required grinding out a couple of wins, some draws, and some hammerings.
What did you expect / hope for?

I'm not being funny.. but when are we ever going to get the point where we finally accept that all of these different managers can't be the main problem when it's been more or less the same set of players for years??
It isn't the same set of players though?

Myko Tark Coady Pat was our back 4 at the start of the season all of whom were new

With McNeil Maupay Gray up front

Onana and Gueye midfield

I fear that if we slip into the bottom three we won't have the nous to climb back out. Southampton have shown that they are prepared to roll up sleeves and battle it out to the end. Reckon it's gonna be between us and Leeds who make up the relegation trio. Our next three games will prove pivotal notwithstanding those involving the other relegation feeder fodder clubs.
