We do the backs to the wall performances relatively well at times, but on the other end, we don't really show up anywhere and have a good go, with the exception of the Forest game away. Nobody wants to see gung-ho but I would like a little less passivity in away games. That's been an issue for many years.

We have to put a couple of wins on the board and an away win would be a huge boost for morale.
Dyche seemed to be alluding to a psychological weakness in the players on this subject this week. That's an indictment of their collective mentality.

Honestly, I'll be pleasantly surprised if we we stay up this season because if we do go down these players will richly deserve the stain of relegation on their CVs, even as they depart as wealthy failures to pastures new.

I`ll be watching Fulham v Leeds on BT at 12:30, you`d think a Fulham win but one of them that could easily go the other way.

Had we won last week we wouldn`t be so nervous or on edge. Palace is must win, especially with the fixtures coming up this weekend, I think Leicester beat Wolves and in midweek, I think Southampton beat Bournemouth.

Unfortunately I cant see us winning away or beating Newcastle midweek, this next 7 days will give us a very good indication of where we will be playing our football next season.......

I dont think the quality of performances were fine at all. It was just bog standard Dyche ball, grinding out a couple of wins and some draws, sprinkled with some hammerings.
It was streets ahead of anything Lampard and Benitez served up. We were playing high energy, dominating football where our previously cowardly players never gave up and fought every minute and we committed men forward for every attack whilst still looking solid defensively.

If that’s ‘bog standard Dyche ball’ then his reputation is completely unwarranted, I enjoyed most performances which I can’t say happened very often at all under the last two managers,

If we had a striker I believe we’d have won that Villa game we dominated until the soft pen on 60 minutes and the forest game we drew as well.

Last two games have been crap and we had no plan b to having no striker no midfield and no full backs but… I don’t know who would tbh

What I don't get though is that our team is massively different to what it was even 2-3 years ago but the mentality remains the same.
