A banker, sadly…Bournemouth will beat Chelsea I bet.
Instructive. So it's 3 from 5 now. That means we have a 60% chance of staying up.
lol. I love this type of lazy analysis. I can tell you first hand from our own Derby there is very rarely a strange result. Bottom line is these bottom 8 teams are all poor with little to choose between them making the results a bit of a lottery.Saints v Bournemouth is a difficult one to call as it is their derby game and a derby game can throw up strange results
60% chance of going down, 40% chance of staying up........So it's 3 from 5 now. That means we have a 60% chance of staying up. Granted it's looking trickier by the day. We absolutely MUST win an away game now.
Hang on in there, we are not down until the mathematics have spoken.
That feels about where it is in my head but all it takes is one big result to flip itPremier League Predictions

HAL 3000 has us at 58% chance of relegation now.
I love your interpretation of my post as 'analysis', it's a very lazy assessment of what I wrote. And if you don't understand that derby games take on a different style of football you haven't analysed many derby games. The reason you have not personally experienced many strange results is that RS have for a long time been that much better than Everton and it is more difficult to get a strange result with the gulf in quality. However, Everton do tend to raise their game against the RS and the home fans also raise their noise levels for the derby game. The fact that Bournemouth v Saints is a derby game will have an impact on the game.lol. I love this type of lazy analysis. I used to have a Saints season ticket back in the day as I lived down there. Portsmouth is there only true rival

Single games are very difficult to predict but the league is easier to predict. It is no surprise that the bottom few teams are who they are equally it is no surprise the teams at the top. Yeah, you will get the odd anomaly but it is looking for the anomaly expecting to win games against the trend. In your example above, At the time, I think I am right in saying Liverpool hasn't won an away game this year, and nor had they scored an away goal from open play against any team in the bottom half. Maybe Bournemouth v Liverpool result wasn't as unsuspecting as you illudeThis gives me hope for Thursday.

This league is never predictable and dogturd teams sometimes show up against form teams.
Their fixtures before they play us:If we can get within 3 points of Bournemouth it’s down to the last day, their goal difference is [Poor language removed] and Goodison would be bouncing
