Pfffft!

There's no way if you were a Villa fan you wouldn't know that about your own club.

Sorry, but something's a bit off here.

Dave,

Believe what you want. For some reason, you seem more concerned with trying to have a pop at me or a pop at Villa than actually debating or discussing Everton's fight for relegation.

But don't worry, you have got Newcastle next and they are having a good run this season so it is probably an ideal time to play them. And then you have Leicester and they are having a bad run this season and guess what, that also means it is probably an ideal time to play them too. And of course, you don't see Leicester picking up points and equally, you don't see Leeds picking up points so no doubt their game will be abandoned with each team getting zero points from the game. But as you said, Everton has 4 winnable games and 2 games for a draw left, maybe this thread should just be closed as it is unnecessary now

I admire people’s optimism, but we’re gone. Accept it
Oh codswallop. People said exactly the same last season too. And guess what? We stayed up quite easily.
now, we are in serious trouble, but there’s two other teams in just as much trouble vying for the same safe spot as us.
They are no more or less likely than us to go down. Anything can happen in the next 6 games… anything. There will be shocks, a club beats one of the top six or similar …
not one of us knows which way the cookie will crumble.

Leeds v Leicester tomorrow should be an interesting game - could be a high scoring affair I guess but still end in a draw hopefully. A point each for them means that even if we dont get anything on Thursday they are both easily reachable.
TBH, I think a Leicester win is the best result for Everton. I think Leeds are the team for Everton to overtake and the fewer points they pick up the better imo

That Spurs sacking might be to Leeds' detriment.

Mason going in there and he'll have them playing to the final whistle of the season.

It’s nothing of course to do with our season so far and the remaining challenges to get us over the line, but I’m still worried just on the basis of probability….over the premier league time, we have escaped relegation (or had too close for comfort brushes with it about 4 times, and probably irrationally I just think at some point our luck will run out
