I'm not bothered when you joined. You're more than welcome to be the fly that lands on the fetid turd of Everton's demise and wallows in the feculent stench of our misery.
Although I am not blinded with the sort of enthusiasm and logic Dave has but I don't think it is all over this season. I think Leicester will survive and it is between u and Leeds. I think Everton is capable of getting 2 points more than Leeds and surviving but it will be tough. I suspect that very soon the doom & gloom will move from relegation to Moshiri and what EFC will do in the summer to avoid a 3rd year of messing about in an area of the league you really shouldn't be in

As a non Everton or Aston Villa fan, allow me to say, Everton are not getting relegated this season. If it was gonna happen it would have absolutely been last season under the clueless Lampard and universally hated Rafael. Even if you don’t think Everton can do it themselves there are at least three worst teams than you. Chill out. Enjoy BM stadium cos you’ll be playing PL football in it soon enough.

It was the same players who had beaten Borussia Dortmund. I know some people are in the mood to detract from every single thing Everton do but a draw away at a team with 100s of millions pounds of talent on the pitch and bench when you have a kid playing up front is not a bad result.
It was just a joke because they have spent over half a billion quid and had 3 managers this season and have Frank at the helm and have lost every game under him.

Why does it deserve it?

if we stay up then by definition we don’t deserve to go down
The club that has overpaid for players, have very average footballers on champions league wages, have no plan, no structure or no idea. The club that is under guise of the premier league due to its inability to manage its finances and as such now must present evidence to an independent committee.

The club whose owner used Talksport to communicate with fans and made racist comments about a former players mother.

The club whose board made up lies about its fans to vilify them in the national media and decided to release this statement hours before a relegation game, then has their chairman write and distribute an open letter on the eve of another important game.

The club, not the fans, deserve everything. We are the worst run club in the entire country, the entire place is a cesspit

If we stay up then there’s three clubs worse than us. Ergo we don’t ‘deserve’ to go down. If you want to condemn Everton for some morality reason due to financial impropriety, owners saying crazy things, boards that have misled fanbases, and general poor performance on and off the pitch then you’d be condemning the majority of teams at one point or another.

Fortunately the table only deals in sporting merit. If we finish ahead of three teams we deserve to stay up no matter how much you might hate Everton.

Ok mert, I’m sure loads of teams of released statements vilifying the fans and making up lies of an assault.

Has it crossed your mind that someone that says something on a football forum may be expressing an opinion? there are only 6 games left and in the relegation thread, people express opinions. Simply saying Everton is down does not mean the person wants Everton down. Saying Everton is down is generally an expression of annoyance, upset, and frustration at the current situation. Rationally looking at the situation and it is very understandable that some people may think Everton will be relegated but it doesn't mean that they want Everton to go down
Davek only deals in absolutes.

I have said from the first time I posted on here that although I am a Villa supporter I have a big soft spot for Everton. I like the club and I want to see them do well. But to answer your question re posting on their forums, no I don't. The only forums I post on are Villa and Everton. I like to think of football forums like going to the pub with your mates and discussing football and if they all support the same club it can be a little boring. There are idiots on all forums and a lot of people post a lot of shyte but there are people to be able to have a grown up conversation.
Thumbs up and welcome. Exactly the kind of thinking we should see more often on these forums. As passionate as we all are about football sharing opinions across fanbases, with a healthy amount of banter and ribbing, and without hate is what it should be all about. That said, hope we're in the Premier League to stuff you 5-0 next season 👍😁

Call me crazy but I’m liking our chances Thursday night, win or draw. We are getting something positive out of it.
Stop it with the draws being a good result. Its not. We lost that luxury with our home loss to Fulham, and the failures to beat spurs and villa at home.
We need wins and we need them now.
6 points required from the next two. Nothing less. We're well below a point a game now on average. Requires two wins on the bounce just to get to that. Disgracefull.
