Stop it with the draws being a good result. Its not. We lost that luxury with our home loss to Fulham, and the failures to beat spurs and villa at home.
We need wins and we need them now.
6 points required from the next two. Nothing less. We're well below a point a game now on average. Requires two wins on the bounce just to get to that. Disgracefull.

4 points would do for me, but you are right with the opportunities missed in those other 3 home games. We've backed ourselves into a corner where this has to be 3 points.

Let’s hope Dyche and the players have stronger wills than Chris and Mike who are more bothered about being able to say ‘I called it in October’ than they are about the club they support going down.

There's loads of them on here. It'd be great if they started the 'relegated' thread and leave this one for people who aren't surrender monkeys.

Can you stop posting in this thread please Dave.

This is a thread for talking about Evertons relegation from the Premier League, you need the "We stayed up, Yay" thread that NOBODY HAS MADE COS ITS NOT HAPPENING.

The club that has overpaid for players, have very average footballers on champions league wages, have no plan, no structure or no idea. The club that is under guise of the premier league due to its inability to manage its finances and as such now must present evidence to an independent committee.

The club whose owner used Talksport to communicate with fans and made racist comments about a former players mother.

The club whose board made up lies about its fans to vilify them in the national media and decided to release this statement hours before a relegation game, then has their chairman write and distribute an open letter on the eve of another important game.

The club, not the fans, deserve everything. We are the worst run club in the entire country, the entire place is a cesspit
But apart from that I think we’re great

If we stay up then there’s three clubs worse than us. Ergo we don’t ‘deserve’ to go down. If you want to condemn Everton for some morality reason due to financial impropriety, owners saying crazy things, boards that have misled fanbases, and general poor performance on and off the pitch then you’d be condemning the majority of teams at one point or another.

Fortunately the table only deals in sporting merit. If we finish ahead of three teams we deserve to stay up no matter how much you might hate Everton.

The thing is if we go down you won’t say that we’ve deserved it, you’ll cry about FFP being rigged against us and kopite referees or something. We will indeed finish where we deserve to, I’m prepared to accept that, are you?

As a non Everton or Aston Villa fan, allow me to say, Everton are not getting relegated this season. If it was gonna happen it would have absolutely been last season under the clueless Lampard and universally hated Rafael. Even if you don’t think Everton can do it themselves there are at least three worst teams than you. Chill out. Enjoy BM stadium cos you’ll be playing PL football in it soon enough.
Can this be reposted every week - a nice bit of positivity

I didn’t say a draw would be a good result. I agree, we need 3 points. All I said was I thought we would come up with at least a point 🤷‍♂️

Who are you? From which club do you bring light?

I said this in the snap poll thread, but the next 7 days will be a good indicator of what happens IMO. After that, Leeds and Leicester have significantly harder final 4 games than Everton.

Leeds: @ Man City, Newcastle, @ West Ham, Tottenham (#2*, #3, #13, #5 in the current table); West Ham would be 3 days after their ECL semifinal 2nd leg
Leicester: @ Fulham, Liverpool, @ Newcastle, West Ham (#9, #7, #3, #13 in the current table)
Everton: @ Brighton, Man City, @ Wolves, Bournemouth (#8*, #2*, #14, #15 in the current table); Man City would be right between their 2 CL legs with Real Madrid
*Brighton and Man City have played significantly fewer games than most of the League (29 and 30 respectively), so their position on the table might be misleading

If Everton is within a point of Leeds, or even with Leicester going into the final 4 I really like their chances. (This is where Everton sits relative to both those teams right now). All three of these teams are awful, but thankfully, 2 of them probably get to stay up. Also, I'm massively assuming that Nottingham Forest isn't going to get hot and pull itself out of the bottom 3.
