I’m not really sure what a good result is in the Leicester Leeds match.
I’ve spent time thinking about it, and I can see a scenario where each of the three possible results is best for us. So in the end, I gave up trying

A Leeds win tonight would be the least welcome result for me. It's a bit much of a muchness, but my worry is that we lose to Leicester then, and of the three clubs, that's us without points in that triangle.

Of course there are other games, and we really have to take three points of our own on Thursday first.

I must admit that I was disheartened after the Fulham defeat and I had all but thrown in the towel, but with Onana back and Doucoure back and DCL a bit sharper we can definitely beat the likes of Leicester and Wolves and Bournemouth.

And if Goodison is rocking who knows what might happen against the likes of Newcastle and Man City? We recently drew with Man City away from home and we beat Newcastle at Goodison last season under the lights.

With these players back I think we're a lot better than Leeds or Forest, particularly with our crowd and it looks like it's going to be down to the fans again ultimately.

Absolutely, if we stay up though will you be admitting you were wrong, or is the w word difficult to say for you?

I will absolutely admit I was wrong. Pretty weird that you act like I think I’ve never been wrong about something. Let’s see anyway. It’s not looking great.

If we stay up then there’s three clubs worse than us. Ergo we don’t ‘deserve’ to go down. If you want to condemn Everton for some morality reason due to financial impropriety, owners saying crazy things, boards that have misled fanbases, and general poor performance on and off the pitch then you’d be condemning the majority of teams at one point or another.

Fortunately the table only deals in sporting merit. If we finish ahead of three teams we deserve to stay up no matter how much you might hate Everton.

I don't believe that you believe that 'the table only deals in sporting merit'. You cry conspiracy at absolutely every turn.
