I think there just comes a time when people think I'm investing so much time/money and emotion into this? And for what. The sacrifices I've made for this club and it's only when my kid was born I decided to prioritise him. Now the poor lad insists on wearing full Everton kit into school every day

Top man, know what you mean, time, money, mood, but still I can’t imagine anything else or doing it differently.

The story of your lad made me smile, I used to wear this into school every day - stunk the place out of it come Friday - but it was class of Kopites and was the only Blue. Still have the jersey - I keep them all. Hopefully better days, like the ones I enjoyed in front of your lad. ;)

This is like a foreign language to me.

I know how I'll feel if we take the drop and it'll be like the world has ended.

Still, once "the grumpiness" gfoes we can start enjoying life watching Everton play Middlesborough for a few years.

I don't think you're reading what I'm saying. I said it would be horrendous and terrible for Everton to get relegated. And that's because it would be horrendous and also humiliating for all of us.

But if it happens we have no option but to accept it and try to get promoted next year. Every season outside the top flight is a failure. The longer we are down there, the worse it will get.

It's what happens when an owner gets his arsed kissed for 7 years and wrecks the club but gets applauded for it...an owner who's place at the club has never been questioned by the social media cabal who've been trying to kill a boardroom of zombies for a couple of years.

Laughable: get the board out but leave the man who's caused the catastophe in place...THAT is something that I'll never understand....probably all about stratagems of the clever people who run NSNONow etc. They know best.
now it's the owner... hahahahaaa

he's blamed the mentality.

what next, the 'intensity' and the 'moment'?
It is simply rotten from the top to the pitch. I will hate being relegated but at the same time will love the fact Moshiri and Kenwright will have one massive mess on their hands. Moshiri will never get the money back and Kenwright will have a legacy he can never live down. For an ego like his it will be unbearable.

It is true.

It's poisoned the well this season. The unity we had and requaied last season was completely absent this season.
You are the last person I thought would fall for divide and conquer techniques, Dave. Maybe I've got you all wrong.

We're where we are because we have a bad squad, a succession of bad managers and because we are horribly financially hamstrung.

Moshiri did this, and Kenwright enabled him. They're the villains. Everything else is just froth.

Haha When I was 7 school said they were having school photo the next day so wear our best shirts. I wore the home shirt from the year above and wasn't allowed in any photos except solo. My mum still has the photo of me on her mantelpiece
