All the young ones will turn to Liverpool. It genuinely could be the death of Everton. Myself and everyone on here will be Everton fans till the day they die but it’s about Everton’s future and it looks bleak.
That goes without saying. If we're in the championship for more than a few seasons we will become another Luton. Lower league teams are just never talked about.

Whats the club without the players? I didnt think we played that bad, the score flattered Newcastle massively. At the end of the fay they are on fire and itvwas a mssive task getting anything from the game. Did people not think this was a likely result before the game?
Stadium half empty with 30 mins to go is not good, we need to support the players we have, keep singing and keep our finger crossed for some luck. Otherwise why do we bother going to the games all?
I'm the first one to criticise the poor support of some of our fans over recent decades, but I don't blame anyone who left in the middle of the game.

This was never going to be a winnable game in a million years. Newcastle are a top 4 side. Having said that, our players did seem galvanised in the first half an hour and we actually held our own until we went behind.

Let's beat Leicester and see what the table looks like then.

I'll be in the East Midlands cheering on the lads on Monday night.
Good man!

Well that's that in my eyes. Unless we can pull a miracle off and win 3 of our last 5 games. Can't see it myself as Fulham was a needed win losing that meant Newcastle or Palace was a needed win imo

Leicester are dross and are very lucky to be a point ahead of us. They say the table doesn't lie but in this case it does.

We will beat them at their place on Monday just as we did when we were in the bottom 3 at this stage of the season last year, especially if the atmosphere is as amazing as it was there last year.

Keep the faith. We are Everton - we don't 'do' relegation.
Do you still believe in Santa Claus mate?

15 points - 5 games

If Dyche wakes up to Keane, Godfrey and Gueye, we will be better but I think he is stuck in his ways.

He can't see wood for the trees.

If we move to 5 at the back v Leicester with Mina, Coleman and Coady back we will at least have some chance and leadership.

Iwobi needs to come more central to at least get some creativity.

Don't beat v Leicester means we are still in touching distance and a win would be the start of the miracle.

What’s the pattern? All been relegated. Complete loser mentality throughout the team. No winners. These players know one thing and it’s a common theme throughout the team. How to lose.

When your transfer strategy is to just buy players from relegated clubs, you’re asking for trouble. It’s a quick easy and lazy strategy.

No proper scouting outside of the league.
Losers upstairs in the boardroom and losers on the pitch.

We deserve to go , we’re comfortably one of the worst three teams in the league . The club has been rotting for years , as a grown man I remember “never again after Wimbledon “ , crying when tony Adams danced through us a year we should/could have been relegated if a Bolton goal had been awarded but stayed up on goal difference. We’ve kept sticking our head in the lions mouth for years . How can any of this be a shock

We flirted with it here and there then Last year we had a kopite in charge that started this and whilst it’s clear lampard is a much worse manager than Dyche I think we might have even gone last year under him. It wasn’t football tactics kept us up it was richarlison & Pickford and the sheer Will of the fanbase that lampard managed to harness . That’s what dragged us over the line but this year we’re spent , the worst squad in the prem , a disconnected fanbase and a horrific board it’s all come together and we’re on the precipice .

I’m angry but I’m not even sure I’m arsed anymore , what’s the point . We’re getting exactly what we deserve . it's truly Horrible but all we can do is make peace with it or tell ourselves “if we can get 4 points from Leicester and city “ and continue the delusion another day .
