That goes without saying. If we're in the championship for more than a few seasons we will become another Luton. Lower league teams are just never talked about. All the young ones will turn to Liverpool. It genuinely could be the death of Everton. Myself and everyone on here will be Everton fans till the day they die but it’s about Everton’s future and it looks bleak.
We had a talisman then mate in Richy. We've nothing now. Not even a whimper fork these players the board and manager taking our great club downThe Leicester game really is crucial.
We were 5 points adrift at this stage last time and managed to turn it around, in part thanks to a victory away... at Leicester.
Yup.This is the biggest concern. We will lose a generation of Everton supporters.
I'm the first one to criticise the poor support of some of our fans over recent decades, but I don't blame anyone who left in the middle of the game.Whats the club without the players? I didnt think we played that bad, the score flattered Newcastle massively. At the end of the fay they are on fire and itvwas a mssive task getting anything from the game. Did people not think this was a likely result before the game?
Stadium half empty with 30 mins to go is not good, we need to support the players we have, keep singing and keep our finger crossed for some luck. Otherwise why do we bother going to the games all?
Good man! This was never going to be a winnable game in a million years. Newcastle are a top 4 side. Having said that, our players did seem galvanised in the first half an hour and we actually held our own until we went behind.
Let's beat Leicester and see what the table looks like then.
I'll be in the East Midlands cheering on the lads on Monday night.
Notts County do okYup.
We will be another Tranmere or Luton.
No kid wants to support a lower league side when there's a PL side in his city.
Do you still believe in Santa Claus mate?Leicester are dross and are very lucky to be a point ahead of us. They say the table doesn't lie but in this case it does.
We will beat them at their place on Monday just as we did when we were in the bottom 3 at this stage of the season last year, especially if the atmosphere is as amazing as it was there last year.
Keep the faith. We are Everton - we don't 'do' relegation.
