But we ARE fighting relegation and we are struggling to score. The table does lie though. A few games ago the table would have told you Arsenal was the best team in the League. Earlier in the season it would have told you Villa who are now pushing for Europe were fighting relegation.
Forest have taken 6 points away from home all season. They only have two home games left and one of those is Arsenal. Leeds have shipped five against Newcastle, six against the RS, and drew with Leicester in their last 3 home games. We're crap, no doubt about it, but I absolutely think Leeds and Forest are worse, and that'll show come the final day.
The teams around us are fighting relegation as well. But we ARE fighting relegation and we are struggling to score.
The table is an accurate representation of the present time. It's not hard.
We are indeed. But we need both teams to be crap and us to be less crap in a very small amount of time. Goal difference is a problem now too. We should be OK against Forest's but Leicester's is miles better and Leeds is better along with having more points than us. It's an issue.Forest have taken 6 points away from home all season. We are crap but we are competing against crap teams.
They have more points than us. We need to win games, we are not doing so.The teams around us are fighting relegation as well.
Going back further, Man u and Spurs both got relegated in the 70s and both came back and won trophies within a few years and were very good sides in the early 80s. City also were in the third tier in 99/2000,look at them now.The one thing I would say is if we get relegated, there are other clubs who have been relegated more recently that have become resurgent following it (thinking Newcastle and Aston Villa) and there are clubs who have built themselves up over time (Brighton and Brentford) so short term, yes not great but with a change of executive leadership and possibly ownership, we are big enough to bounce back. We won’t be the first generation of support to suffer the ignominy of relegation, but we can absolutely bounce back.
Totally different game now though. It would depend how quickly we adapt to life down there and I am not seeing anything to suggest we would be able to do so.Going back further, Man u and Spurs both got relegated in the 70s and both came back and won trophies within a few years and were very good sides in the early 80s. Club has been crumbling for years with these parasites running the show. I’am worried about the long term future of the club if we go down. However if we go down and they stay it will be a hell of a lot worse than if they all left and new ownership took over in summer.they’res nothing appealing about our club crumbling. nothing
Leicester before their comeback against Wolves had taken 1 point out of a possible 27. Prior to beating Brighton, Forest had taken 2 points from a possible 27.They have more points than us. We need to win games, we are not doing so.

They wont go if we go down though. So we would be better staying up...Club has been crumbling for years with these parasites running the show. This is the worry, mind you Newcastle have recently between spurs,Leeds and West ham by a higher margin lolDont forget that team against Newcastle was arguably our strongest side.....

We just need that one win to get us going. Leicester is a massive opportunity.
