No one wants to go down.

But we need to win games if we want to stop it happening. The team need to start delivering because we are in last chance saloon

Its normal to be pessimistic. We have shown no reasons to be optimistic. But that doesn't mean the unexpected cant still happen.

People need to stop repeating the line that People hope we go down. Unless you can highlight a post from someone saying they hope we get relegated

I can take people not backing managers, weird agendas against our better players, people saying that we might go down or that they think we’ll go down.

But there’s a group on here who actually want us to go down and were fuming when Brentford won. Regardless of how this season ends, that will never ever be forgotten or forgiven, it’s absolutely criminal. They can squeal all they want about Benitez or Moshiri or Kenwright but absolutely nothing excuses taking glee from watching your own club get closer to the drain.

‘Everton deserve it’ ‘will be good for the club’ ‘we need to be put out our misery early’ - absolute gutter rats. The lowest of the low.

With respect, thats a pile of crap. Unless they aint Blues.

My perspective is that some have accepted the reality that after several years of mismanagement, perhaps it will catch up with us this season. And ergo, like most would do, is try to look at a potential "good" things that relegation might bring to this disfunctional club.

I dont share their optimism, but I understand their grasping at straws. Dont mean they want the club to drop.

It's horrendous.

Realistically there looks like one possible/probable win in their combined games left: Forest with S'ton at home.

It really could be that 31 points keeps us up.

Said the other day. Burnley took 1 point from their last four games last season while we took 4. If that happens to Forest and Leeds and we take just 3 points from five we would probably stay up on GD.

It’s just as possible that any of the teams in the bottom six could go on a really bad run as a good run. Ourselves included.

If leeds don't win tomorrow they face a real uphill climb with that run in to come after.
Tomorrow is a massive game definitely. Bournemouth in their last home game West Ham obliterated them so they have that in them. I would be made up with a draw there because Leeds last four are grim, they will be looking at the game tomorrow as a must win.

I can remember the captain of your Benitez crew suggesting relegation would be great
