We’ve won 3 away games over the last 2 seasons. 3 in 35 games. That is utterly shameful considering we sell out our allocation everywhere we go. It’s going to have to change- if we could pick up a win and 1 or 2 draws out of Leicester, Brighton and Wolves that could give us a chance going into the Bournemouth game. Our players are so mentally weak I just don’t know if they’ve got it in them.
My thoughts exactly these cowards are given chance after chance and fail to deliver.
Now is the time.

Why would I be the first to say I knew we would stay up? Strange comment that.

I’ve been optimistic about them turning it around, but I’ve seen enough of the dross dross in this squad first hand to know when they can’t be arsed. Didn’t you see Godfrey letting people stroll around him? Iwobi putting half arsed crossed in?

3rd in the league or not, in my opinion they gave up, the fans didn’t, and that is unforgivable.
Nahhhh disagree. I saw Godfrey getting skinned by better players and also he’s not a right back. I saw Iwobi being usual poor self yes but also Dyche has switched his position back to a winger when he was never a good one. They didn’t give up. They got beat by a much better team.

Would it be best to go down and HOPEFULLY get prompted so we can start at BMD in the Prem…
I’m certain that if we stay up this season, we stay up next season too. No way Dyche allows a scenario where we have one striker and that one striker is short and slow with no first touch. Which is the immediate reason we’re 19th. (Outside the thirty years of inept mismanagement obvs).

IMO, if Leeds are beaten tomorrow - and given the remaining fixtures for both them and Forest - I'd expect us to get at least a chance to get clear on the last day against B'mouth.
We have to win at least one of our 3 remaining aways though, something we’ve only done once this season

As long as I can still watch/root for an Everton team playing each week, I’m not that arsed TBF. I can’t affect a single thing that goes on behind the scenes or on the pitch, and I refuse to let it affect my actual life. I’d prefer to be playing in the top flight, challenging for and/or winning things, but that ship sailed years ago. I suspect that, if we do go down, we’ll be in a similar boat - we’ll not be winning any cups, and probably not the division. As long as those whose lives include a relationship with the club, and who value the match day experience (including all of the time-worn traditions that go with it) get to continue, it’ll mean that the club is still going and that t doesn’t need to change. It’s not the end of the world. If the club goes under because of it, different story, but until or unless that happens, we’ll still have our Everton FC. And it’s not over yet anyway. UTFT.
A very thoughtful depiction of what I reckon a great many of our fanbase will be thinking, myself included.
I'll admit to walking out of the Street End on Thursday at 0-2 and as I did I had a long wry look at the stadium thinking that was the last night game in the top flight at GP. I'm devastated beyond words at our predicament but whatever and wherever we are, until the day I curl my toes up I'll be a Bluenose.
I'm sorry to admit my feelings are we'll only stay up by virtue of a combination of three other teams imploding while we get a couple of freakish results. I'll take that scenario but I fear that unless Kenwright and Co are gone we'll be sitting here in 12 months in the same position.

I dont know their motivations. I suspect that they think it'll be a breeze in the Championship like Burnley found it this season and we get the board out.

Deluded.

...and that's giving them the benefit of the doubt that they dont just hate Everton...
I hate Everton.

And I think we will get bullied in The Championship, what a scalp we will be for all the utter no marks.

We have to win at least one of our 3 remaining aways though, something we’ve only done once this season
It could conceivably be a points total of 30/31 we need to pass.

I cant stress enough the importance of Leeds getting beat tomorrow. If that happens then we're in with a real shout.

5 points could do it for us. If we got 3 of them on Monday we're in business for sure.
