Massive performance needed on Monday, although almost certain the players aren’t able to give what is needed.

However, if we can somehow come away with 3 points….. I would say the one win in those last 2 games should just about see us safe. If we can get a another point or 2 out of the remaining games then it will definitely see us safe.

Wishful thinking I know….. but got to keep the faith!

It really is the hope that kills us ☹️

Last 4 away games - only 3 points but just one loss, and away to United.

I wouldn't rule out us getting between 3 and 4 points from the last 3.

If we got the win against B'mouth last day I think 6 or 7 points could be enough.

If Leeds lose tomorrow and Forest dont beat S'ton next week I'd expect that scenario to be correct (needing 6 or 7 points).

For months I've said 36 points would do it. I think that will undoubtedly prove to be the case now.

I’m bored speculating now or listening to speculation. It’s time for the players at the club to put their big boy pants on and start competing…it’s down to us only to get ourselves out of this mess…..no one else. I’m bored relying on charity and luck - sort it. If you can’t. we shall be playing Swansea next year.

What's your view on the Newcastle result? At first I thought this is a terrible disgraceful defeat, but then look at their recent results ...are they just on a great run?

I think it will be less than 36. I think two wins gets us safe. Problem is I can’t see us getting two wins unfortunately

Another scenario (bear with me):

if Leeds lose tomorrow and (looking toward to next weekend) Forest lose or draw with S'ton (the most winnable game of all three team's remaining fixtures), the way things are set up regarding the fixtures for all 3 teams, I think we could afford to lose Monday and still take it to the last day.

I know that's leaping forward and back in time, but you know what I mean.

Overall, here's my thinking: if it does go to the last day I'm taking my chances with us even if needing a home win against B'mouth while both Leeds and Forest just need a draw against Spurs (H) and Palace (A) respectively. I dont see both of them getting points on that final day's fixtures.

If I was a fan of either of those two clubs I'd see that in the distance as a big danger looming. '
Far too many 'IFs' for my liking. So it's a NO from me!
