Every team down there is capable of losing every game. A win for anyone probably gets them within touching distance of safety. It’s just impossible to predict.

Forest have one chance remaining to pick up three points. It's up next.

S'ton can be awkward customers and they wont want to be relegated with 3 games to go.

If Forest remain within 3 points of us after that match I'd bet a lot on Everton getting past them.

Leeds I just dont see anything in it for them, hence the Allardyce panic decision. With or without him they'll get f.a. from now IMO.

He had a proper run and apart from the derby he was mince.

A defensive calamity. No Everton manager when Coleman has been available has ever fancied Patterson. He lost us a lot of points earlier in the season by going walkabout.
Do you still stand by your words after tonights performance once he was called on....

Well let me put it this way: if he finally finds a defensive game and we stay up then he'll get me off his back once and for all - and I'll be pleased to do so.

He's got some big shoes to step into and he hasn't shown he can so far.

oddly I’m actually leaning more towards Leicester and Leeds than Forest. I think Leicester might be on a downer having passed up chances to beat both Leeds and us. They were wide open against both teams as well (and wolves in between). If they lose to Fulham then it’s two very hard fixtures following that. Would be pressure on to win the final home game and they might be behind a few other teams at that point.

Forest v Soton and Fulham v Leicester are hige next week.

Forest have Chelsea, Arsenal then Palace after that so will definitely be targeting all three v Soton, that is a must win for them

Leicester after they play Fulham have RS then Newcastle and host West Ham last game. Their last game is appealing, especially as West Ham probably have a European final to come but you can’t see them getting too much from RS and Newcastle so they will be needing points from Fulham.

From our perspective, we are praying they don’t win their next game.

Absolutely hate all this
Yep, outside of our own games, I think these two next week will go the longest way in deciding our fate.

I'm glad Southampton are still mathematically alive here, because they should be motivated to play the way they did against Arsenal and a few of their other shock away performances. They have a real chance to pull the upset at Forest, which obviously helps us massively.

It all basically boils down to: can we get 1 more point than Forest and 2 more points than Leeds (maybe even 1, if we can just flip the goal difference) / Leicester in the next four games? Forest and Leicester winning wouldn't quite eliminate us, but if either of them doesn't win next week, then I'd say we have a better than decent chance.

Might be time for a Tina Turner body, with a Ssan Dyche head along with Indiana Jones whip Jimi

It'll be epic

If that doesn't get em going, I don't know what will macca.

Would argue Forest could very well get points at Chelsea with Lampard in charge there plus the fact they've been crap all season and have nothing left to play for. Which would see Forest on 36 points. Allardyce could pull off a final told you so / up yours / shoulda stuck with me to us but I agree it's looking bleak for Leeds yet they are STILL ahead of us.

Losing to Fulham really put us in a bad spot imo. I think we need wins from Brighton or City as well as our last two games to be gaurenteed safety. On the basis we manage to beat Wolves and Bournemouth assuming they'll be in holiday mode I am still not sure 2 wins alone will cut it. We are basically relying on two of Leicester, Leeds or Forest being worse than us and we're currently below all three of those teams.

On paper, their final home game is a big chance for them. Pressure though can take any home advantage away.

My head tells me it'll be Forest and Leeds we have to clamber over. The Forst / S'ton game is key. If they get a win they'll propbably finishes on that: 33 points. Leeds I wouldn't give tuppence for their chances. The next two they'll get a right pasting. The last one against Spurs will see Kane anting to sign off with a big game. Maybe they have a chance against West Ham as they travel back from Alkmaar and will only have 2.5 days to recover.

If we get 5 points from somewhere I'm pretty confident we stay up.

I thoight our attitiude and endeavour tonight was first rate. Do that another 4 times and those 5 points will materialise.

Superb performance from the lads and how we didn't come away with 3 points tonight I didn't know. But this is a viral away point that leaves us still in it. We have now dragged Forest into it.

The media wrote us off last week just as they wrote us off this time last season when we were 6 points away from safety. But we will not go without a fight.

The grit tonight, the determination... that was almost Dogs of War stuff.

A special mention to our away fans tonight - stunning atmosphere. We got behind the lads from start to finish.
The bookies' odds on us staying up have now changed dramatically.

The kopites might not get their relegation party after all.
