Forest have one chance remaining to pick up three points. It's up next.

S'ton can be awkward customers and they wont want to be relegated with 3 games to go.

If Forest remain within 3 points of us after that match I'd bet a lot on Everton getting past them.

Leeds I just dont see anything in it for them, hence the Allardyce panic decision. With or without him they'll get f.a. from now IMO.

I wouldn't take anything for granted with Forest. Lampard's Chelsea are absolutely shocking and Palace is an opportunity for 3 points on the final day.

Would argue Forest could very well get points at Chelsea with Lampard in charge there plus the fact they've been crap all season and have nothing left to play for. Which would see Forest on 36 points. Allardyce could pull off a final told you so / up yours / shoulda stuck with me to us but I agree it's looking bleak for Leeds yet they are STILL ahead of us.

Losing to Fulham really put us in a bad spot imo. I think we need wins from Brighton or City as well as our last two games to be gaurenteed safety. On the basis we manage to beat Wolves and Bournemouth assuming they'll be in holiday mode I am still not sure 2 wins alone will cut it. We are basically relying on two of Leicester, Leeds or Forest being worse than us and we're currently below all three of those teams.

Yes, all of that could happoen, but so too could our hopeful outcomes.

The fact of the matter is there's 4 in this still and with roughly the same good/bad remaining games to play.

It'll come down to commitment and a bit of luck.

But we are in this with a big chance of staying up. That's what that result did tonight.

I do agree tonight gave us hope and a chance, keeping us in it but I feel a win was needed or is now needed in the next two "expected losses" to compensate for points dropped elsewhere.

Big ask of these lot but they surprised us end of last season. Maybe they can again in the coming weeks. Suppose we've just as much chance as the other three in the mess we're in.

Doubtless that tonight was a much improved performance but just realised we haven't won in 7 now. Not a good state to be in at this stage.

We are looking at other teams saying they won't get anything there, but I'd imagine every other side in this will be saying the exact same about us.

I see it this way: 4 teams and none are outright favourites to stay up or go down.

2 to go from those 4.

It's as simple as that.

That's not enough for some on here though, they wanted to see us beaten so we can draw a line under this season, say "I told you so" and crack on to the Championship.

Thank goodness the team and manager dont hold that attitude.

"Whaa whaa whaa we didn't win....whaa whaa 'kin whaa!!!!"

FFS, there's a player carried off on a stretcher for us tonight with a terrible injury with more fight than some of these jelly fish on here.

He cannot keep that CB pairing, it clearly isn’t working.

It's here to stay I suspect for the run in.

Coady was never as bad in the games before he was dropped as Keane has been in last month unless I've missed an obvious one where he stank the place out for 90 minutes. He was poor like them all in Lampard's final two months but I'll say it again, started the home clean sheets v Arsenal and Leeds and him and Tarks looked to be getting back to start of season when they were solid and team wasn't conceding more than one goal for most games.

Then Dyche just decides to break it up and it's been regularly 2s and the odd 4 since.
