No, neither do I.

What is wrong is people pissing their kecks about not getting it.
If it had been a lucky point I would have been more concerned but taking into account the performance - a point was the least we deserved and should give some cause for cautious optimism

Bottom three. As more games are played , the more we don’t win, the more pressure builds on a team/group of players with a already questionable mentality. Not winning each week is unhelpful.

It was bemusing to see how many were happy with a point at Forest and proceeding to take the Fulham game for granted.
As i've just said 'not winning is unhelpful' isn't exactly cutting edge insight is it? Of course it would have been better if we'd won, just as it would in every single other game we've played. That didn't make it a must win game though, which is all I was saying.

As I’ve said earlier, it’s expected Leeds will lose to City, so in theory, if we avoid defeat to Brighton, we come out of the drop zone at Forests expense, then the pressure falls onto them to get something against Southampton.

A lot of If’s there, but could be a big boost to us, if we can somehow get something from Brighton.

Why isn’t it a must win given the position we are in? Games are running out mate .

People writing off the Brighton game as no chance - the same Brighton that got beat by Forest a week or two ago?

If dyche gets the selection right and the work rate and tenacity that we showed last night is there we can do something.

Good shout.

Understand the sentiment but forest played them at home. Forest also played them a few days after their FA Cup semi final pen defeat. I read on Brighton forums their fans saying it's the worst they've looked/they were fatigued.

We have them away. Hard to find belief we get what would be our 4th away win in 2 years at Brighton. This is their home league form in 2023;

3-0 Win vs Liverpool
1-0 Win vs Bournemouth
1-0 Defeat vs Fulham
4-0 Win vs West Ham
1-0 Win vs Crystal Palace
3-3 Draw vs Brentford
6-0 Win vs Wolves

Id be thrilled with a point and pray for an away win at Wolves who are also in great form at home. Do that and we take it to the final day which is the best I think we can hope for.

Because we can still stay up despite not winning it? A must win game is a game that you must win. The clue is in the name. Last night wasn't a must win game - it would have been a big boost to win it, but we have 4 more games to play and there's a possibility that even 3 points might just sneak us over the line. It was a really big game and it goes without saying that it would have been great to win but all we can do is move on to the next game and try again. Staying up is going to be a tough ask, that was clear to most of us before the season even started, but we're still there fighting and we shouldn't all start waving the white flag because of last night.

Totally agree it’s no cake walk, and they have been in the main great this season, but we can go there and fight, scrap and battle for something before we surrender - there was a bit of fighting spirit last night.

Probably futile but we need to have a proper go - hopefully Dyche sends them out in that frame of mind.

Not white flag waving here. I simply think we needed to win last night to ease the pressure on a squad that has a weak mindset already . Staying up is going to be an even tougher task the more we don’t win.

First twenty minutes last night I thought we did well , Coleman in particular and I felt they were there for the taking.

They didn’t show a weak mindset last night. Came from behind away from home and continued to create chances.

you have to remember that southampton must beat forest or they are gone realistically

they will be going for it like we did against leicester

Can’t decide whether a draw or win for Southampton is preferable.

Realistically we have to back ourselves to get more points than Southampton over the next four games or we may as well pack it in, so perhaps a Southampton win.

That’s the big worry, isn’t it? That this shower won’t cope with the pressure as it increases. Dyche coming in seemed to give them the boost you would have hoped for but then they returned to form in the Newcastle/Fulham games and his tactics are still too timid.

I won’t accept relegation until it happens, and there is only one “must win” game, which is the last one where we still have the chance to affect staying up (which could well be Bournemouth), but you’re right that each game we don’t win makes it harder mentally.

True. Need to keep that going then and win , Wolves away for example.

Imagine how agitated people will be if it comes down to the last game against Bournemouth. I simply don’t want it to come to that.
