If we’re to stay up we need 2 wins, and the odds suggest it’ll be the last 2 games. We’d all love to get an unlikely win from the next 2 but more than likely we’ll be clenching all the way to the 95th minute on the final day.

I'll take it. Because the danger is we could be adrift by then. Thats why im a bit annoyed with dyche not throwing on fresh legs in the last 10 mins at leicester and going for those 2 points even more. We are very rarely in a position that we could go for the throat in games. And when we did. He just ran those on the pitch into the ground and never went that bit extra for it.

Mate I totally agree but playing Devil's advocate if he put Gray on for say Iwobi and we became more open and Leicester took advantage and won our position would be even worse and he would be getting it down the banks.

Personally i think leicester were cooked by then. But we might be past that stage now of being conservative. 4 games to go. Two of them against top teams.
That leicester game may be a telling one in why he's won 6 games in what is it now 44?

Oh I agree that we should have gone for the kill but perhaps the fact that we were playing a relegation rival clouded his judgement ( or perhaps that's just his negative mindset!)

I'd have 100% put Grey on. Fresh legs for the last 10 or 15 mins, and the lad has a point to prove both to Dyche for a starting spot and to Leicester who let him go. He'd have been desperate to put in a big performance.

I think the other factor is he quite clearly doesnt fancy Gray.
But i agree. Id have got him so worked up on the touchline. In his ear...now get on there son and prove a point. Give me a goal. Rub their noses in it....

Can see Leeds obviously losing against City, possibly their goal difference taking a bit of a pasting too, Forest beating Saints and Leicester taking a draw against Fulham.

So down to us: a draw would likely move us up to 18th, level on points with Leeds but ahead on goal difference, 1 point and a substantially worse goal difference than Leicester (we cannot finish above them on GD), and 3 points behind Forest (at this stage it looks like we'll end on a better GD than them).

I would take going into the final two games 1 point off safety right now.

The week we play City we've got very, very lucky: not only will City be likely 4 points clear, but they'll also be in between their games with Real, Leeds host Newcastle, Forest away Chelsea where Frank may or may not do us a favour, then Leicester host Liverpool.

Given I see only Forest winning this weekend, we may see after the City game that it's two from Everton, Leicester and Leeds, and that Forest sit on 34 points with two games left if get can grab a point off Chelsea.

Our toughest game if the run in, and it's a very slim glimmer of hope that City might have their eye off the ball between the Real games, but I agree it does fall well for us. Also that the teams arround us all also have very tough games, so the chances are that even if we lose, we may not fall further behind them. The last 2 games are our cup finals.

Leeds away to City
Leicester away to Fulham
WestHam home to Utd

Can’t see any points for our peers here.

Hoping for Forest not to win

Problem is I can't see more of a chance for Leicester and Forest than us against Brighton.

Really hoping Southampton can do a job. As always with this time of season, there has to be a worry Fulham could throw in a shocker with nothing to play for while Leicester have it all on the line.

Forest are a concern for me. I'm worried a half hearted Arsenal that have lost the league might throw in a bad performance. Really hoping Southampton can do a job on them. Not too much of a job though, 0-0 is fine.
