We were on a one way street to the Championship with him. The defeat to the worst team in the league was the final straw. He fell out with one of our better players and hounded him out of the cloob a few days before being sacked.

Don't get me wrong, I was against the appointment in the first place but once it was confirmed I hoped he would do a good job. Too many fans were desperate to say "I told you so".

But he was given the chance to do his job and he failed miserably. So any fan who didn't want him had every right to say "I told you so"

It was guaranteed to end in failure and not just because he's an ex rs manager. It's because he's a bloody dreadful manager whose best days were 17 years ago.
