Best just chill about it all now. We are clear of the drop zone on merit, sent out a brutal warning to our rivals and after last night we should fear nobody, city included. We're in a great position now that was very unlikely 24 hours ago. I said on a previous post a day or so back there will be a shock result or two, adding that hopefully it's us who gets it, which we have.

Just can't see this team going down now and fixtures are very kind for us compared to the others. I'm very confident.

Yeah a lot can still happen, not many games left but still plenty of twists and turns can easy still happen, freak results, all we have done is give ourselves a great chance

I thought there would be a greater sense of optimism here after last night. But if we all saw things the same way there'd be no point in a forum!
The perfect outcome for me is us an Forest staying up and am clinging on the believe that's how it'll end up.

Was really going to give you a 'like'... and then you spoil it with the last paragraph. You should know better!

Based on my math...

32 pts - 12.6% chance of survival
33 pts - 37.4%
34 pts - 71.5%
35 pts - 84.7.%
36 pts - 94.7.%
37 pts - 99.3%
38 pts - 99.8%
39 pts - 99.99%
41 pts - 100%

So it seems like 34 will likely get the job done-- it allows for Leeds and Leicester to each win a game, but we really need to shoot for 36 if we want to fend off one of those two suddenly getting hot.

Huge result in being control of our fate more or less. But that doesn't mean all that much if we don't capitalize on such a fact. Do we have collectively the easiest stretch compared to the rest (factoring point deferential) yes, we still are playing all teams IMO better than us. Personally I wont feel confident until the bottom is set and we aren't in it.

the only way we can get to 36 is if we

win at least 2 of 3 games against man city, wolves, Bournemouth
win at least 1 of 3 games and draw at least 1 of 3 games against man city, wolves, Bournemouth

Yes. This.

I'd say that in the last two games Everton have given performances that any top 6 team would be happy with.

Everton have played way beyond what any of the other relegation threatened teams are capable of.

We need others to still fail though. Another round of games this weekend where all three of Leicester, Leeds and Forest get beat means that - regardless of our result versus City - we'll be big favourites to stay up. If Liverpool, Newcastle and Chelsea play the way they can, that should happen.
