Our away form last 6 games:

Forest 2-2 Everton
Chelsea 1-1 Everton
United 2-0 Everton
Palace 0-0 Everton
Leicester 2-2 Everton
Brighton 1-5 Everton

I'm inclined to think this is the game where we'll get safe if we do get safe. It suits us at the moment playing away from GP.

Wolves will press us and we'll be offered a lot of room to get a counter-attack going.
I think it goes to the last day even if we beat Wolves sadly. Think Leeds will beat West Ham. As long as we have it in our own hands going into the last day we have to be happy with that scenario. If we can be leading the group of 4 teams with at least a point and a goal differential advantage over Leeds and Forest then we are in a good spot

I hope it doesnt go to the last day - not because of my shredded nerves, but because I dont have much faith in us beating bournmouth.

I've thought in the context of how things have gone, that I'd have settled for it going to the last day, as long as a win would guarantee safety, and it seems like it would.

Obviously if we could get it resolved after the Wolves game it would be great.

Now that the hope index is quite high again, relegation would be desperately difficult to take from this position.

I would have said after the Fulham/Newcastle games that I wanted the season to just be over with, but now that we're out of the zone and have a slender advantage, let's just do what we have to and get safe. I want the manager and players to see these games as an opportunity to secure safety and not as occasions to succumb to fear.

Strangely , of the 3 games, that is the one I feel least confident about as they will be well organised and difficult to exploit spaces in their defence. We are not good at breaking down solid blocks. We took advantage Monday of Brighton thinking they should win the game and pushing into our half leaving half the pitch empty behind them. City and Wolves may do the same but Bournmouth will come to get any result they can.
Their attitude will be crucial (B'mouths).

I think our intensity might just overwhelm them. However, I dont see an easy 3 points there.

Our best bet is to grab a point in each of these three games and not go for a KO blow to get us over the line.

We're good enough to get 2 points. If we add another we'll be ok.

I see Leicester and Forest struggling to get past us on the final day. Leeds: they'll either get a couple of wins or completely collapse. There's no happy medium with that lot.

we just need to play the game sensibly, and not the occasion, and we should be fine.

maybe the league as it wont change that much!?

We need to get ahead of Forest to ensure we are not vulnerable to a freak Leeds or Leicester result. If we can achieve a shock win then they can as well. We have a good chance of winning one of the final 2 taking us to 35. 35 looks difficult for Leeds and extremely difficult Leicester right now

As amazing as Monday was, that second half - Pickford and Mina aside, wasn’t actually great. I know we were digging in but we need to keep the ball a lot better than that v City.

In fairness though we were playing the greatest team that has ever been assembled on Monday (apparently) that we already should have written off the hope of any points given how good they were. So all that said a bit of sitting deep in the second half wasn’t the end of the world.

Last day of the season games can be a lottery.

If anyne can manage this situation Dyche can, though.

I know we're all just jabbering away nervously and trying to make sense of things but at the end of the day we're all overthinking it really. We just need to end up above 3 teams - doesn't matter who, doesn't matter how. Trying to work out who might get what where is pointless at this stage because the margins are so small and one result can change the whole picture.
