Leeds and Leicester would have to be favourites to beat a safe West Ham side with a European final to play.

Both will need another 4 points minimum to have a chance of staying up and I can see both getting it.

Realistically, that means we need 3 points from the 9 available to be safe. 1 point tomorrow and I think we would be almost there.

Tomorrow is about coming out if the game with confidence. Obviously a win or draw would be awesome. But fighting and putting a performance in defeat against probably the best team in Europe would be a good thing for the last two games

As Dychey says, it's all about consistency, Park the noise, align with the details, the details in the tactics and get that consistency where we're not too high and we're not too low and performances will come and give us a better chance of results.

Dycheys trusting Tarky to help Patto and the boys to ignore the outside noise and Yezza will help Keano wipe his tears away if he isn't selected even though it's a squad game.

Yeah, Palace won’t just capitulate at home, I’m convinced. Whilst I’ve always found it a little cringey, that little section of pseudo-ultras will be up for it on the last day. Be a decent atmosphere.
I think it's Roy Hodgson's last ever match as a manager too? And it's at his home ground for his home club.
He came out of retirement for this little stint at Palace so I'm sure they'll want to out on a show. Probably got a little presentation for him after the game lined up, a bag of some local Croydon delicacy no doubt.

It was critical neither won - especially Leeds.

Today was a day of fluctuating emotions, but we have settled in a place that is far more comfortable than where we were as Patrick Bamford stepped up to take his penalty.
Defo mate.

I feared the beginning of a horrendous day of football at that moment.

That moment and Niakhate's failure to connect and score early second half for Forest today were close calls. But the main thing is they weren't converted.

I bet Dyche would have accepted today's scores in advance of them.

And Tom will put a smile on everybody's faces as he cavorts on his skateboard before crashing into a lamp post.

Would not surprise me if Roy stayed another year, he came into Palace with a good set of fixtures as everyone knew, but there is saying it, and actually performing against these teams you will be expected to beat

Yeah, I think he would. Frankly, I think I would too. I was dreading the Leeds game. As it is, two draws. That's potentially decent for both of those sides, but also not quite what Leeds, especially, would have been really hoping for. And at 1-0 with a penalty to come, you are very definitely hoping for - if not expecting - three points.

We've simply got to do our stuff. Today could have been catastrophic - wins for both Leeds and Forest - or even seriously damaging (a win for Forest after Leeds's draw). But it has been almost benign in the end. Almost.

If we get a point tomorrow, today will be another lost opportunity for our rivals with matches running out.

I'll tell you what will happen when Leeds play them: they'll get ahead of thesmelves and think they can rock up to West Ham's ground and take all three points with ease. That would be typical of how they've over-estimated their abilities all season. The home game aganst Palace was a prime example of that.

IMO West Ham see Leeds off. And I think Spurs will too.

Let's have it right: Leeds are appalling.

Agreed.

I just said above that Leeds are rank. They are utterly appalling. I thiught the early KO might affect things and they diod. Newcastle were out of sorts. However, they still almost lost it.

West Ham away for them will be a step too far. Regardless of West Ham having less than 3 days to prepare. And Spurs will beat them too.

Despite how bad we have been, not winnng for a bit, having lots of injuries and Seeing that, i think we have done well to not even be bottom for a day lol
