All the talk about our opponents getting wins in the last couple of games: that'd be like 6 wins.

In the last 12 games they've all had to face (so 36 games in total) they've won no more than 2 games each - Leicester once (so, 5 wins out of those 36 games).

It's a scary part of the season but let's not hand our rivals the stature they dont deserve.

There's about 2 more wins in this season to spread around Leicetser, Everton, Leeds and Forest.

Whichever clubs get those two will decide the final table placings.

Just got to hope they can go to wolves and get a win Dave, that may be enough, I personally would rather our fixtures than the likes of Forest and Leeds but we will see, one game at a time.

Not that bothered about City result but concerned about our squad options thinning again - DCL and Myko now.

There isn't much beyond the first 11 and Dyche seems to struggle when he can't choose them.

Harshest relegations in premier league history:-

1992/1993 - palace relegated on goal difference by 2 goals
1995/1996 - man city relegated on goal difference despite southampton and coventry finishing on the same amount of points
1996/1997 - sunderland relegated on 40 points
1997/1998 - bolton relegated on 40 points by goal difference
2002/2003 - west ham relegated on 42 points
2006/2007 - sheffield united relegated on goal difference by 1 goal
2007/2008 - reading relegated on goal difference by 3 goals
2010/2011 - birmingham relegated on 39 points

interesting tidbit 29 points would have been enough for safety in 2020/2021 season

its been 15 years since a team got relegated on goal difference

no team has ever been relegated on the goals scored rule yet

Apologies if this has already been posted, but it's reassuring to see that cold, hard statistical modelling has us as the least likely team to be relegated of the four after the weekend.
