Home form been really strange. Started off the season being tough to beat and conceding very few goals (just 4 conceded in first six home games) then completely imploded mid season. Even under Dyche it's been no home wins since early March although Leeds 1-0 could still be critical.

Everyone assumed though it would be similar run in to 12 months back and team would just keep on grinding results at home but it's the away form that is keeping this team up currently.

Interesting to see how next season goes given the away win average these days is two a season. I always remember in West Ham's final season at Upton Park they went on an unbeaten run for 4-5 months and seemed to find an extra 10% playing on emotion so perhaps same will happen here. Or not.
I think the big problem is we have the personnel for counter attacking football but not creative football, so we struggle when the expectation is on us to make the running, which obviously occurs more when you're at home. When you're away the mentality is a point is fine, at home you chase three, and when we've chased games we've been undone.

This is also the reason I worry about it going to Bournemouth.

They can score v this Arsenal though. Awonyi has got fit again and has stepped up big time in last few weeks with flurry of goals. They also left Johnson out yesterday so he'll be back in line up and is always threat on counters.

Only thing I would say is I don't think they can win the game 1-0 like in Dyche's first match as they just aren't very good defensively whoever they play.

Martinelli looks done for the season and Saka looks very tired so suddenly Arsenal's attack looks easier to control anyway especially if they play 5 at the back as Cooper will probably do.

If they get a point then that simplifies their task for the final day.
ATM Ild rather be in their position than ours. But that can change in the next matches. If we beat Wolves and they lost or drew against Arsenal then we'd leapfrog them.

This can all change in heartbeat.

There is no way that THREE of Leeds, Leicester, Everton or Forest reach 38 points, which is what needs to happen to relegate West Ham.

All of them on worse goal difference than West Ham.

West Ham are safe.

For the record, I don't think any of them will (we might).

But.

West Ham will not be thinking that if we beat Wolves and Forest take sommat off a now dispirited Arsenal on Saturday.

Then that Leeds game takes on new meaning for them.

Well it will affect them as they now have nothing to play for and will probably be dejected. Of course they may still have a reaction but i doubt it they look very soft at the moment. In any case their game against Forest is not important in my eyes, forest have enough in the tank to be safe. Its between Us, Leeds and Leicester.
If you want to look at it this way, if Arsenal beat Forest, that means if Forest can’t beat Palace away last game (in other words Forest only get one point), it means we only have to win one match to finish above Forest. I don’t think Forest getting a point from 2 tough games is beyond the realms of reality, so we could be one win from safety, if Leicester don’t beat RS or Newcastle.

Lets be honest, Forest, Leeds, Leicester and us are in a relegation battle because we are all crap and deserve to be. All of this so and so is going to get so and so points is complete and utter bollox. We are all crap and whoever is the least crap in these last couple of games will get to stay in the premier league. It is that simple really.

And if the truth be told, non of Forest, Leeds, Leicester or us deserve to stay up.

It’s just two teams will fluke it in the end.
