Absolutely no shame in losing to City. For 35 minutes we were excellent.
The problem is that we look a completely different team with DCL and if he can't play against Wolves and /or Bournemouth I fear for us.
Mykolenko gets dogs abuse on here but Holgate at left back was disastrous and again id be concerned if we go into the next 2 games without a recognised left back
Yes, Holgate made Mykolenko look very capable! Guy looked like a man with zero confidence when he got subbed.

Be glad to see the back of this season.

Until next season. Round and around we go.

Well it will affect them as they now have nothing to play for and will probably be dejected. Of course they may still have a reaction but i doubt it they look very soft at the moment. In any case their game against Forest is not important in my eyes, forest have enough in the tank to be safe. Its between Us, Leeds and Leicester.
I think you guys are safe, a win v Bournemouth keeps you up, incredible last day fixture IMO

It's us vs Leeds,

Fair enough. I was sure Forest-Arsenal was half 4 on Sunday so happy to be corrected.

Yes they'll at least want to make sure Man. City have to win their game to wrap it all up.

Going to have to play much better than today though in what is one of the best atmospheres in the premier league this season and that's been reflected in Forest only losing 5 at home all season.

Forest also beat them in FA cup last year although totally different team line ups.

Meanwhile we have lost 10 at home so far, most in our history.

Anyone who saw the vids of Arteta in the dressing room when they lost to forest knows he is trying to build a mentality. Not a chance he will let them rest on their laurels
Well they have already rested on them. Bottled it and been pretty poor recently. Even Southampton nearly took them to the cleaners. I could see Forest giving them a good challenge.

This extremely dangerous step to take, assumptions on other teams.

I’m sure every other fam said that about us when we rocked up at Brighton.
Yep. To a certain extent fixtures go out the window now - city probably the only team no one would fancy themselves against. All other games could go either way this late into the season.

Arsenal play Forest before City play again, that is a must win if still believe City might slip up... I think Leeds will beat a West Ham side which know they are safe.

If we beat Wolves I think we are safe, anything else and I think we will be in the bottom 3 going in to the last game.

Home form been really strange. Started off the season being tough to beat and conceding very few goals (just 4 conceded in first six home games) then completely imploded mid season. Even under Dyche it's been no home wins since early March although Leeds 1-0 could still be critical.

Everyone assumed though it would be similar run in to 12 months back and team would just keep on grinding results at home but it's the away form that is keeping this team up currently.

Interesting to see how next season goes given the away win average these days is two a season. I always remember in West Ham's final season at Upton Park they went on an unbeaten run for 4-5 months and seemed to find an extra 10% playing on emotion so perhaps same will happen here. Or not.

If Liverpool beat Leicester and we can get a win against Wolves that may be enough, for Forest it may depend what type of mood Arsenal are in. Literally have to take it one game at a time, for both our teams a Liverpool win tomorrow would be welcome.
