I mean that shows the state we’re in when we need mykolenko can’t wait for this season to be over, I’ve actually accepted relegation and be quite happy going down we’re just a number in the premier league I’d enjoy stringing more than 3 wins together whether thats in the championship I know my weekends would be better we need a total reset squad and board only good thing about this club is the fans.
there is a genuine proble with relegation, we might not see top level football again for years and years

Be glad to see the back of this season.
Whatever happens I don’t think I can be invested in everton over the summer. Whether we will stay up or go down , between the board, the owner, the stadium, transfer window it’s going to be a nightmare.

I am going to lock everton away for a few months and get my Ashley Barnes number 9 shirt on the eve of the new season.

…we should know now that Everton have a way of playing. We don’t play for draws, we play with men behind the ball then look to spring and get players forward. We will play the same way in our final two games.

It could work, it could not.

Worked to perfection at Brighton and also at Leicester (when you look at number of key chances created throughout the 90 minutes). However Fulham at home was very poor with 2-3 injured so that's my concern as first 11 is very average at best so stands to reason there's not much beyond that.

I'd be interested in Wolves selection. Strong midfield and Neves is leaving finally so he'll be looking to do well in his final home game. If they're thinking it's Holgate at LB again then Adama Traore will surely start and they'll get Neves to ping crossfield balls towards him. If he keeps running at Holgate they'll be fouls, dangerous free kicks and probably a yellow card. And maybe a red card again.

So that would restrict McNeill getting high enough the pitch to really influence things until later on in the game.

Bournemouth also have decent pace in final third so while we all know Myko is average he is at least o.k one v one defending. Really hope he's fit as Holgate starting last two feels a credible way this team can still find a way to get relegated.

Even if Arsenal lose, are people here really that stupid enough to think that this will determine their next performance v Forest? I mean, it’s like people don’t even understand that it’s not how football works at this point.
Well it will affect them as they now have nothing to play for and will probably be dejected. Of course they may still have a reaction but i doubt it they look very soft at the moment. In any case their game against Forest is not important in my eyes, forest have enough in the tank to be safe. Its between Us, Leeds and Leicester.

While I went in today thinking we could snatch a result, in my head I thought 'if they get applauded off at the end we're in a good place.'

We kind of got a drubbing, but the performance was there, the fans didn't turn (and most stayed until the last couple of minutes!) and I think the players will take something from that reception. Two games against teams with nothing to play for and it's in our hands. Guess you'd take that.

Yeah I thought it was a really good reception from the fans at the end. I think it was obvious that we are light years behind them but they didn't chuck it in and become ill disciplined like Fulham and Newcastle games.

Anyone who saw the vids of Arteta in the dressing room when they lost to forest knows he is trying to build a mentality. Not a chance he will let them rest on their laurels
Agree. On reflection, today's result maybe makes them more likely to go cuff Forest next weekend, a combination of professional pride and the fact they've already got the bottling out of the way.
