The danger is if we don't beat Wolves and then Leeds beat West Ham then we're relying on Leeds and Forest's results last day.

The goal difference is only 9 between West Ham and Leeds (8 effectively because of goals scored). Leeds win by 2 goals then it's 4 going into the last day. West Ham won't want to go into the last day not mathematically safe.

It’s not 9, it’s 11. Leeds would have to win 5-0 at West Ham to have a chance of overturning it.
West Ham will be safe by time they play Leeds.

Said as much myself.

Wins for all of us down there are like hens teeth.

There'll be maybe 2 or 3 wins left between us, Leicester, Leeds and Forest. Get one of those and your team are right in business.
Yeah and Leicester's will probably come tomorrow...

Everyone keeps on asking what West Ham have to play for, worrying about a Leeds walkover.

But what do Wolves have to play for? In reality we both have very comparable fixtures. They are both teams who up to a few weeks ago were in a relegation fight with us.
Wolves haven't had anything to play for for ages, but have averaged 1.5 points per game prior to yesterday and since their new manager took over.

Yeah and Leicester's will probably come tomorrow...

Maybe.

I'll tell you this though: if they lose that game they'll be relegated.

Newcastle will rip them a new one up there, because they'll be smarting at drawing with Leeds and leaving the door open to Liverpool. That'll be a proper mauling.

Leicester can get away with a draw tomorrow and hope they see off West Ham on the final day...just to give them a chance.

Overall, if Leicester dont win tomorrow my attitude will be: "Two games to go with the fixtures we have AND out of the relegation zone...I'll take that and see what happens".

If we get relegated from there - Cest la vie.

Wolves and Bournemouth are better than West ham FYI

That West Ham game for Leeds next week is a big worry. Whatever the result in Europe, West Ham aren't going to be in the best state to play that game and they've been average enough anyway.

Need Spurs to start Richarlison against Leeds on the final day. He'll want us to stay up more than half our current players do.

I’m pretty sure they had something to play for when they had 28pts(before the Chelsea win) and 31pts(before Brentford win). Comparing that stage to now is stupid at best.

Villa was ideal game after that Brighton hammering, local derby and chance to put a dent in their european hopes.

They're one of those teams that is very tough to beat if they go ahead in the game so key imo is to start first 20 minutes like at Leicester and Brighton and see what they're like.

I know they were at Old Trafford but looking at highlights they were second to pretty much every 50/50 so that's a sign of team mentally on the beach although could be different story at home.

I think ourselves, Forest and Leeds end on 35. Leicester 33.
Unfortunately we’ve handed the slight goal difference advantage to Leeds.

Leeds beat spurs...LOL....is this a list of random results based on mystery guess work or dreams during episodes of bed wetting to ensure Everton end up with less points than the others?

Spurs have failed to win an away game since January. In that time they've lost 4-1 to Leicester, 3-3 at Southampton (after being 3-1 up with 10 minutes left) and couldn't win v 10 men at Goodison.

I wouldn't say Leeds beating Spurs in fired up Elland Road is some ridiculous prediction. Leeds held Newcastle who are a far better team back to front than Spurs currently. Away game was 4-3 Spurs and Leeds were 3-2 up with 10 minutes left.

Leicester winning either of next two is far more far fetched with the state they're in.
