This is the relegation thread tho, so no more talk of that. Let's only talk about how West Ham are a village side with no cohesion, and Leeds are Barcelona in disguise.
Leicester are guaranteed to win two games after losing 8 (?) on the spin,.and Everton are doomed unless we always win (?!).
Nottingham Forest don't even care because they have had 2 draws and that's them back to European Cup winners like the last 40 years never happened. 2 stars on the badge, somebody's still dreaming.

Another sad thing is that he's not a bad player. He's a bloody good player
I guess being nearly but not, that's perhaps a worse strain,.mentally
He was a very good player and you could see the praise, but a few funny faces, a few bad recurring injuries and all that is wasted.

Hope he gets some stability if he plays more lower down the leagues

I don't want to be waiting til 2pm Sat afternoon to know if DCL will be playing.
( Tight Groin - He can do 2 more games with that, got a long enough break coming to rest it...

Just don't have a good feeling about wolves, Bloody nightmare at there place !!

Leeds are a better team than us and they will come good. We are better than Leicester and soton. Leeds are the best of the bottom 5.
They have lost more games than us, have conceded more goals than us and are below us in the table so nope they are not a better team than us. We are bad and they are even badder.

Honestly, people have gone completely insane about Leeds since the gravy god took over them. They have 1 point out of 6 under him and are absolutely abysmal.

I agree that we're better than Leeds and although they do have just the one point from 6 under Fat Sam they've played City and Newcastle... so that's 1 more point than we've managed out of the same two recent fixtures.

They still have very winnable games if they can keep it tight. They weren't embarrassed against City or Newcastle and yes the scoreline could have been worse for them but it wasn't. We lost those combined fixtures 7-1.

Hopefully Leeds don't pick up another point or if they do it is 2 and under, but there is a possibility they could get 4 and I wouldn't call it a miracle if it happens. A lot rides on that West Ham game so they don't build up confidence by winning and we could do with a favour from Richarlison to make the last game as difficult as possible for them.

Both have played newcastle and man city lately. Everton got 0 points. Leeds got 1.

Im just throwing that out there for debate 😎

Their fans have turned on him and the players now. You wonder how far their motivation goes when both parties (players and manager) know they all probably won’t be there next season. The fans have deserted them in a way the Everton fans have never deserted the team since Dyche came in. People in the media can say whatever they want about toxic Everton fans and the atmosphere at Goodison being difficult for players yada yada. I’ve seen nothing from Leicester Leeds or Southampton fans this season that has even come close to what we saw from Everton fans last season, and when push comes to shove they’ve all been booing their teams off home and away for weeks now. Everton fans have stayed behind Dyche and the team when it’s mattered.

Out of the 3 teams there’s one team more aligned from top to bottom and with more recent momentum and basis for a decent performance and that’s Everton.
Couple of blokes in front of me (in with Leicester fans - it was free don’t judge me) left with 10 mins to go. One said as they stood up “Do you need anything picking up from IKEA tomorrow?” Not interested at all in the tepid crap football they’d just seen in a must win game.

They accepted it when they didn’t beat us, and the hurt has already started to fade.

That said, Leicesters toothless attack did remind me a bit of how we look without Dom. When it’s nervy, you need a target just to keep the plan simple. 🤞

No room for rivalry or mixed feelings in our situation, I 100% wanted Liverpool to win comprehensively tonight without any shred of reticence. Despite their recent good form, they've been vulnerable and inconsistent away from home all season, combined with Leicester's current circumstances that should of seen them fighting tooth and nail, at home, this result was never a given.

Had a sneaking suspicion any VAR will go in their favour tonight and for these last few games also, we know they'll be helped into a champions league place now they've caught up somewhat - either way it's exactly the result we needed, onto Wolves!
