ncidentally why are so many posters calling Forest, Forrest?

I think they say Forrest because theyre young and they dont remember Nottingham Forest, the club that Cloughie had. History. Etc.

I remember them see, so I remember that it's spelt with 1 R because thats how it was spelt on 'match of the day' the day that they conceded 8 goals and were relegated and humiliated and didnt return for 23 years.

Or Generally it is just habit, as we are just posting on a forum. So spelling and punctuation does take a bit of a nose dive when you're writing quick responses...

Not that punctuation has ever been a strong point for me anyway...

If (huge if because we are expected to lose our next two games) Dyche keeps us up it will be a truly astonishing achievement.

This must be the worst squad in Premier League history - and frankly it's not even the players' fault. They try and they give their all, but many of them are simply not good enough. Or, in the case of the brilliant DCL, they have rotten luck with injuries.

Dyche inherited a team firmly ensconced in the bottom two with an impossibly hard run-in and all the 'easy' teams having already been played twice under Frank.

And of Dyche's two main strikers: one (Maupay) is a guy who scored just 1 goal every 4 games on average at Brighton and the other lad (DCL) has scored just 3 goals from open play in 2 whole seasons.

It would be truly a miraculous feat to keep this squad in this division.

Not a huge fan of Dyche, but if he does it he will always have my backing.

Nobody cares about Holgate's confidence. People simply do not want to see him in the shirt again.

I wouldn't boo him. But he's played himself out of the right to represent this club with his attitude and performances.
Holgate had a shocker but how is his attitude poor?

Booing players is kopite-esque behaviour.

As supporters of Everton FC it is quite simply beneath us.

Couldn't believe what I was hearing.

Are you Sean’s son?

Is this the same bloke that got battered by Fulham at home?

Same bloke who has us still deep in it with 2 games to go?

He’s gone an ok job. Certainly not a job worth gushing over.

Why are you expecting us to lose our last two games?
We just smashed Brighton away and we were capable enough to beat Arsenal at home let alone Bournemouth!

I think we’ve looked like a good team when Dyche has had most of our few good players available, the problem is we have zero depth.
Fortunately Patterson has replaced Coleman well now he’s back fit so for me, if we have Pickford, Patterson, Tarkowski, Mina, Gueye, McNeil, Dom all fit and ready then given Wolves and Bournemouth both have nothing to play for I’d expect us to be looking for four points minimum.

Well 2 games to go and it’s entirely in our hands… think most people would of snapped your hands off to be in this position a few months back!

For me it doesn't matter what team West Ham pick they're at a disadvantage playing a big emotional game abroad that has everything on it and then turning around a few days later playing a meaningless game against a team who had 8 days rest with everything to play for.

The gap in quality isn't even that big to begin with, they're only 6 points better over a season this one is a real 50/50 for me.

If we don't beat Wolves then we're really asking for trouble.

Yes, but we got 3 points from Brighton and Man City.

It was a recent comparison because both played them of late and under a different manager.
Im not blowing smoke up leeds. Nowhere near it. But judging them over 8 games means nothing because their previous manager was leeds equivalent of frank lampard.
They put a better showing up against newcastle at home than Everton did at home. Thats just a fact and if people dont want to see them as a danger thats fine. I will though.
