Let’s see how Newcastle do on Thursday against Brighton.

They’ve played with freedom all season Newcastle, but with the run Liverpool are on, and the last couple of slip ups, I don’t think anything’s a given.

That Leicester game will be a very tight, cagey affair I think. So much riding on it. Newcastle May have to win to keep CL alive or even qualify; Leicester will need to win to be able to stay up.
The Leicesters players body language yesterday (compared to our players....or leeds' even) was terrible and a big big reason why they are cooked and will be going down.
Its one thing i'll never slate most of our players for, they do put the effort in, its more about quality or confidence with our players...never work rate.

Leicester on the other hand are cooked. To many players not taking responsibility, blaming each other, or just happy letting there contract ride out!

Leicester are gone for sure.

Ran around a bit for 20 minutes but they are a complete mess out of possession.

One relegation spot in play.
Yes, between us and leeds now. Win either the wolves or bournemouth game i hope is enough. Hopefully wolves and then its less stressfull on the last day....depending on other results.

That result was huge for the bottom lot. Leicester look as good as gone. Still, being deep in trouble and then asking Dean Smith to help you out is asking for trouble.

I think there is only one spot to fill now and confidently predict we will be in the Premier league for another season.

So, we play Saturday, then the 3 other teams in the relegation fight play after us. Win, lose, or draw, they know what they have to do after our game.

Still think we will stay up though.

Right ok.
Apologies for calling out blues, wanting best for Everton, even to the point of LFC winning.
You're braver than me.
I had a mare. Everton do things to you. I am an unstable mess, again.
Thank God we came out of this weekend not in the bottom 3. Give anything for it to stay that way, I accept that now.
Anything can still happen, but now that game is over, and Leicester lost (framing it differently now) I have a bit more inner peace than most of today.

Awful what this club does to you.

@Moomin sorry blue.

Good man.

Well, we know what we have to do too: win.

If we can't win, draw.

But we have to be going there to win. This is a golden opportunity. If we cannot seize it, well, whatever our subsequent fate will be well deserved. That's the beauty of sport: you tend to get what you deserve in the end.

Forest still very much in it and with there goal difference, a defeat to Arsenal in there next game and they could be in the bottom 3 going into the last game.

Leeds will be looking at us and thinking we'll get 4 points minimum, we're looking at them thinking they're easily on for 4 points minimum too.

I thought about this last night and I'm convinced Palace will beat Forest on the final day. It will likely be Roy's swansong, at home, and a celebration of a job very well done. Eze, Olise and Zaha are huge trouble for any team and hopefully they'll have enough in them to beat Forest.

As long as Arsenal do their bit, not forgetting they're still technically in the race when they play Forest, I think Forest will get the fewest points from the three teams. They can afford to do so of course and still not go down; if they get one more point we need three to finish above them (GD), whereas Leeds would need four points if Forest get a point, or win both games if Forest win one of theirs.

Man, if we could just grab another win at the weekend and one of those two don't win, I'd feel almost 100% that we're staying up. Channel the spirit of Brighton once more ffs!

I agree that we're better than Leeds and although they do have just the one point from 6 under Fat Sam they've played City and Newcastle... so that's 1 more point than we've managed out of the same two recent fixtures.
Nope, we have got 3 points out of our last 2 fixtures and both were against top sides and one of them was a thrashing. Leeds should have been beaten about 10 - 1 against City but for City missing a ton of sitters. They haven't won for about 7 or 8 games now and that is including with Allardyce in charge.

Im loathe to say it because i hate it coming back but they look cooked. Leicester players look to have accepted it.

I thought that for us after Fulham to be honest, and look at us.

Not that I don’t agree, just don’t want to forget them until I absolutely have to, like I have with Southampton.

Are you Sean’s son?

Is this the same bloke that got battered by Fulham at home?

Same bloke who has us still deep in it with 2 games to go?

He’s gone an ok job. Certainly not a job worth gushing over.
If he keeps us up he will have done a good job, but we have 32 points from 36 games. If that is a miraculous achievement, then obviously I don't understand football anymore.

We are still in the race because our rivals have been equally as bad as us. We've been ok since Dyche took over but nothing more than that. We are extremely fortunate that less points will be needed than last year, because if we needed to get 39 again, we'd already be gone.

Fans booing them at half time again. Honestly I think they are scared stiff. A goal from Newcastle will open the flood gates. Mentally they are burst

Absolutely agree, 100%, but May aswell call it how it is; it’s now or never for Leicester. It’s their cup final on Monday night and whether they lose 4-0 or 1-0 if they don’t get a result they could be gone; guess it depends how the results go at the weekend.

If Newcastle go ahead they’ll be fine, but what they have at stake, especially if they go on a wobble and don’t beat Brighton (which is very plausible). We know how St. James can get.
