Leeds are a better team than us and they will come good. We are better than Leicester and soton. Leeds are the best of the bottom 5.

Both have played newcastle and man city lately. Everton got 0 points. Leeds got 1.

Im just throwing that out there for debate 😎
Nope most recently, we played Brighton and City who are both top sides and got 3 points, they played City and Newcastle and got 1 point. We are poor, they are even poorer. Just throwing that out there. ;)

The same poster kept predicting Southampton would go on a run of results that you would more expect from a title challenger. They predicted they would win their last 4 and stay up as far as I remember.

Went through their posts and I believe Leeds might have become Brazil 1970. Only joined in March, and seem to be scouring match threads from weeks ago for some reason, classic wind up behaviour.

I didn't feel like Leicester were the ones we'd need to worry about before last night and the game yesterday just reinforces it. They've been unlucky with how their last 3 games fell. Newcastle have a tough game against Brighton on Thursday and if Brighton get any sort of result, Newcastle are going to need to win against Leicester to save their own CL spot. I can't see any way back for Leicester now - a win for us leaves Leicester needing 2 wins and it's hard to see that.

Leeds still concern me - they played well on Saturday and their last two games aren't too bad, against sides who for differing reasons may not have their eye on the ball. Until I watched them on Saturday, I was confident about them but now I'm thinking we are going to need a minimum of 4 points, maybe even 6.

One result could massively change those odds though.

There are 2 spots up for grabs for safety, and we are in the second best place to take one. However, a loss on Saturday and we could easily be relying on other results again.
Agreed - I think those odds assume we get something on Saturday, which is by no means a given

….latest relegation odds (William Hill);

Leicester 1-8
Leeds 4/11
Forest 5/2
Everton 7/2

Wish I had as much faith as the bookies but then they are rarely wrong.

It’s such a slender advantage over Leeds, we basically have to match their results, and I’d be rubbing my hands at the prospect of facing West Ham right now.

Already answered it mate in another post. Forget the leeds under their version of frank lampard. No matter what we think of allardyce he will have them up for the last two games.

The long and the short of it is we win and the pressure on the other three will be too much for two of them & they’ll crumble. Playing first this weekend is a massive advantage if we really go at this wolves team the way we can (when the bottlers aren’t in the team).

…..strange, we were 9/4 before losing 3-0 at home to City & yet we’re now 7/2.

I actually take a bit of comfort from those odds.

See i think spurs at home is a bring them on. Spurs are a better side but they've chucked the towel in in terms of being up for the fight.
Like you say we have to match leeds results. Imo that is an absolute minimum of 4 points.
