Why? We didn’t do that against Brighton Leicester Forest etc. we kept pushing trying to win the game and didn’t just try and defend a draw. We’ve not meekly accepted losses either.

Those games were not relegation deciders. If we go in at half time at 0-0 with Leicester winning then I'd be very surprised if we didn't try to play on the counter. Especially without DCL.

Ideally we get in front in the first half and then that makes things much more simple. But when have we ever done that as a club?

in an ideal world spurs beat leeds or draw at leeds, newcastle beat leicester and west ham beat leicester or draw at leicester and it doesn't really matter what we do against bournemouth
You know as well as I do that that ain’t happening, it’d be far too easy. We don’t do easy here at Everton. Surely one of Leicester or Leeds win on the final day. We’ll no doubt go 1 down against Bournemouth too, before Michael Keane scores a late worldie to snatch the point that keeps us up.

What I’d give for a simple, comfortable 2-0 home win. We just don’t do them.

If Leicester lose tomorrow night which is a very strong possibility given Newcastle are in form and fighting for 3rd place, then a draw would keep us up against Bournemouth unless Leeds beat Spurs by 3 goals which is pretty doubtful considering how poor they are. Their defence in particular is shocking.

Get your Newcastle scarfs on lads. ;)

Leeds are a cowardly bunch of frauds. Allardyce was found out today. A big bluffer way out of his depth.
@4737carlin tell this man off henceforth.

Anyway, Allardyce frankly stopped caring about anything bar a massive pay package many a year ago. He literally won't care if Leeds go down. He's got his excuses "I only had 3/4 games, couldn't make signings, toughest challenge etc".

On the surface, true. Someone else will panic and chuck ££££ his way at some point.
