The only game I'm waiting on now really is the Leicester game tomorrow. If the unthinkable happened we'd be immediately 2nd favourites to stay up.

If they draw it's in our hands; if they lose I cant see them rallying to get anything from West Ham...maybe a point.

Leeds are done: stick a fork in them. We await Leicester's penultimate game response though.
Leeds had shown (albeit a glimmer) some life in a point against Newcastle. Leicester against Fulham were beyond awful and didn’t respond against liverpool. Newcastle away is probably the hardest game in the league right now along with City. If they win tomorrow it will be an utter miracle…and if they do then there’s nothing we can do.

An early Newcastle goal will kill them offf.

so they don’t need to win?
They will want to win to secure top 4. Man U also have 2 games left and Newcastle's goal difference advantage over Liverpool could be gone if they lose their last 2. Howe will be 100% focused on a Newcastle win tomorrow. Last home game, win and seal champions league football. Alternative is a nervy last day away at Chelsea. They will absolutely not want that to happen.

I was asked before what my plans were, up or down, I rightfully plan to let my feelings known towards the board.

The players lack quality but they’ve shown flashes of fight which has somehow got us into a position where we might escape, but it’s not their fault.

I’ve backed them, and didn’t want any unwanted distractions, full time will be the right time to express our opinions again. It’s not good enough and we as fans, deserve better. We deserve clarity, and we deserve a boardroom who doesn’t fabricate stories and leak stories on the eve of huge matches.
Agree with nearly all of that.

"Flashes of fight" is not enough sorry mate, they cant turn it on and off.
Giving your all is not a talent, if we had given our all in every game this season we wouldn't be where we are.

Back to your point yes after the game their should huge protests but i know what will happen if we pull it off, fans will be more interested on getting on the pitch for selfies for their profile or recording videos for social media likes.

There's no difference between a draw for Leicester or defeat for them for us.

We have to get a draw regardless to hold them off should they beat West Ham.

It's a pity we have that GD deficit on them.

Indeed Dave, Monday is everything, but it makes you realise and appreciate just what an amazing and totally unexpected result that Brighton game was……

I just had a look back through previous seasons. Didn't West Ham go down with 42 points one season?
This is true and was like twenty years ago I think? Still stands as the record I believe, it's the classic thing to throw in the face of anyone claiming 40 is safe like!

Note that in like 25 out of 30 seasons or so less than 40 has stayed up

More so because liverpool is playing Southampton on the last day...so if they need 5 goals, they will score 5 goals. Newcastle knows that they need at the very least one point. Lose tomorrow and you are dependant on getting a result at the bridge.
