What's Leicesters approach tomorrow? Are they going out for the win or not getting beat?
Probably keep it tight, frustrate them, and hope to nick it with a late goal. They know Newcastle don't need to win, but I hope Newcastle approach it exactly as West Ham did today. They're far the superior side and hopefully that shows over the 90 minutes. Regardless of the result, Leicester can still finish 17th next Sunday. Let's hope not!

Problem is mate our expectations have been lowered significantly by Kenwright and co, its infected a lot of the fan base.
We have lots saying we just need to consolidate our PL status next season also.

Ive said many times on here this league is poor and it doesnt take much to move up the table, look at Villa.
I certainly wont have the mindset of going into the new season with finish 17th and il be happy, get to fk.

With apologies to the great Patrick Kavanagh...

'O stony grey imposters in our Royal Blue Jersey
The laugh from our love you thieved;
You took the gay child of our passion
And gave us your clod-conceived.

You have clogged the feet of our young supporters
Whereas I believed that my childhood heroes' stumble
Had the poise and stride of Apollo
And their voices my thick tongued mumble.

You told us you could be a real part of our immortal Tradition
Our once Royal Blue, all beautiful Tradition,
The RBJ stained, your ineptitude a sword
In the blue-blooded hearts of our faithful.

You sang on steaming dunghills
A song of cowards' brood,
You perfumed our clothes with weasel itch,
You fed us on swinish food

You flung a ditch on our vision
Of beauty, love and truth.
O stony grey imposters in our RBJ
You burgled our bank of youthful hope, and made us who remember Science, sick with disgust.

Lost the long hours of pleasure
For all the women and men, young and old that love Everton.
O can we still meekly stroke this unrecognisable creature's back
Or write with unpoisoned pen

Their names in these lonely verses
Or mention the beautiful fields where
The first happy flight of our Everton lyrics
Got caught in our simple prayers.

Defeat after invidious defeat, heartless performance after heartless performance.
Wherever we turn we see
The stony grey imposters in our beautiful Royal Blue Jersey
Instead of the loves and heroes that were born for me.

No mate, why is that the criteria for getting another season? We done that last year.

His job was to save us with 18 games to go and 1 point from safety and here we are with one game to go without us being safe.
If we were 8-10 points clear i may agree but for me get rid in 7 days time regardless of the outcome.
Hi mate, I genuinely think it's on the squad. I haven't seen what he can do with his own players, hence he's worth another season in my opinion if he can keep us up. I get the 'we've been here before' but I've also seen the 'let's get rid of the manager' before too. Same circus.
For me, we need a change of ownership and then some stability to get us into BMD in the Premier League.

This may sound a bit premature, but the club must at any cost stop people from entering the playing field during or after the match next sunday. With the club already in hot water due to Fair play and the scenes against Palace last season, The bosses of the Premier league will be tempted to use it as an excuse to deduct the club points.
Rumours that they are sending taste testers for the Bovril and if they don’t like what they see we are getting sanctioned.

AFCB fan in peace. Do you want the good news or the bad news?

The good news first. Most of our fans, with long memories from 1990, want Leeds to go down so it'll be interesting to see what the reaction is if you score. Nobody wants to see their team lose but if we have to lose, losing to send down Leeds is about as good as it can get.

The bad news for you is we haven't had a penalty all season including some absolute VAR shockers. So prepare yourselves for what may happen as I imagine the officials might want to even up some of the horrific decisions to prove they aren't biased. Yeah, right. We believe them.

No idea if we'll be on the beach. We were abject against Palace and pretty poor against Man Utd so it could be you're in luck. Having said that, there's no love lost toward Dyche who, for some reason, regularly used to single us out for criticism when at Burnley even when we weren't playing them. So there might be a little niggle from one or two players who were around back then.

Great to see Leeds fans heading for the exits when West Ham got their third today. Thought we were toast when Leeds went one up. Greatly relieved to have a 2 point cushion over them because I can see our lot coming up short and only getting a draw next week. But as fantastic as seeing Leeds lose we got to remember that we still need a favor from the bar codes tomorrow to leave it in our own hands.

Regardless of the out come next week there’s no way on gods earth I’m staying behind to applaud these gang of chancers, I’m off home to either celebrate with plenty of beer or drown my sorrows with plenty of beer.
By and large and since Dyche arrived, I think players and staff, limited as they are, have tried their best most of the time.
A lap of honour isn't appropriate (if we stay up) and out of the question otherwise but whether we do or not, getting the board out is the next task.

Agree with nearly all of that.

"Flashes of fight" is not enough sorry mate, they cant turn it on and off.
Giving your all is not a talent, if we had given our all in every game this season we wouldn't be where we are.

Back to your point yes after the game their should huge protests but i know what will happen if we pull it off, fans will be more interested on getting on the pitch for selfies for their profile or recording videos for social media likes.

Oh I know mate.

Im just not trying to sound like an over the top tosser. Some of these players have lasted 4-5 managers now, at what point do you stop blaming managers and blame the players?

I didn’t go on the pitch last year and I won’t be doing it this time if we do escape. The club will use any excuse to glorify failure.
