4/1 for us to be relegated seems exceptionally kind from the bookmakers considering our home record
Yehbutyehbutyehbut, home 'record' only works for a series of matches. If we were playing Man City, or alternatively Southport, at weekend, then the odds ought to refkect those particular opponents. We're obviously destined for a 5-0 victory.

I just don’t see the logic in him saying his team is rubbish mate. He only has to get them motivated for one game or even get the fans on board and make E.R. a bear pit - he’s basically telling the players and fans here - that their rubbish and what do you want me to do about it.

As for their recruitment - they have some good players, but like us are just so unbalanced - their defence is woeful, they’ve conceded 74 goals this season, even if they went out and brought in someone like Craig Dawson or Shane Duffy in Jan - would really have made a huge difference for them. A lot of teams spent big in Jan and did/could go down - Southampton spent hugely by their standards and as you say Leeds too.

500k for three games for Sam, unreal, that’s like something we’d do.
I guess he realises both his fat bonus and his chances of getting kept on are disappearing down the drain, so he's intent on making sure it's everyone's fault but his to get out with whatever reputation he still has intact. And it isn't his fault they lack quality, but he's thrown his players, mostly very young players, under the bus in the name of self-preservation. A horrible, bitter fella.

Newcastle seem to have a bit of an injury crisis tomorrow. Longstaff, bruno, joelinton and trippier big doubts.

Anthony Gordon is going to bloody start isn’t he…
Bruno is apparently fit for tomorrow as per his recent tweet. Joelinton is a beast, and always seem to be able to recover in time. He was very good against Brighton and his injury was more impact than muscular. Longstaff is the big unknown and I am sure trippier will not miss the game as far too much at stake. Funny enough a lot of newcaslte fans would be happy with a point so that it makes it more difficult for us to stay in the league. Fair to say they don't like us which is strange as I have nothing against them.

Side is in a very good place and despite the injuries I trust this manager to get them over the line (probably kicking and screaming) next Sunday.

It's been a strange run in though. Last season finished with 4 wins and 2 draws from last 9 games. Draw yesterday meant it's now 1 win in 10 so you wouldn't say with that form the Bournemouth game should be treated as a formality.

What's huge is the nice situation where it isn't a must win and a draw will more than likely be good enough. You'd have got long odds on that even a month ago if scenario was presented that Forest would be unreachable going into final day.

Just get it over with now as make no mistake the Hierarchy have been a disgrace in last two years and basically been on self-sabotage to seemingly relegate the club. The faithful will certainly make their feelings known after the final whistle whatever the outcome.

Haven't written for a long time. I am writing now sitting in Kyiv under Russian missiles. But there will be no downgrade. It's sad for me that this season is the worst since I supported Everton. It's just unthinkable that such a great club with such a history and with such fans could go down. I believe that we will stay no matter what.

we are with you mate, in spirit at least…..

Yep, 1 win in 10 you've gotta say is a piss poor return for the business end of the season.

Again, if we go down and with those stars, we won't be able to complain.

I could easily see us, Leicester and Leeds all losing our remaining fixtures and us staying up with 33 points. That being said my head tells me one of Leeds or Leicester will get a win in the remaining games so we’ll need to get something on the last day.

It’s a desperate return. One more win in our previous ten and we’d be just about safe. I think Dyche has done okay, some of his selections were baffling, but in the main it’s all on the board for not getting in decent attacking options with DCL struggling with injuries.

They needed to get a point today to guarantee safety. They did.

They will not care less about playing/beating Leicester.

No they didnt.

They have exactly the same to play for V Leicester as what they had today, professional pride and momentum for the final.

That was far too much for Leeds, and given Leeds are better than Leicester it will likely be too much for Leicester.
