I thought that was absolute insanity from Smith tonight, I couldn’t believe they were actually time wasting at points, yes Newcastle were probably going to dominate but most of the night that looked like a league one team desperately trying to earn a cup replay. A win tonight was SO MUCH better than a draw- win and with the goal difference you’re probably 75% staying up, draw and you’re maybe still 75% going down. It was like they only twigged with five to play.
Couldn't agree more mate

West Ham dont seem to do to bad over recent times at Leicester, but Leicester know they have to go for it, which may leave gaps for Bowen etc

The thing for me is that West Ham will be wanting to be competitive. It's their last game for 12 days and that final. They'll want to play their best players to keep them ticking over and they'll also be relaxed about the game and playing without nerves....and the players they have are a nightmare to face when they're confident and looking to break on defences.

I cant see West Ham failing to score a couple.

If all our games are tight with only minutes to go, they're going to do one of those split-screen things on the tele aren't they? So we can see all the action and responses at once as the matches are ending.

I mean, fair enough if you're doing the rope-a-doper and inviting early pressure...but you have to step out from behind your guard and land a good few punches in the latter stages. Leicester look like they thought waiting until the end to land the KO blow was a great idea. It made no sense in the position they are in.

Now they have to play attacking football against their last opponent - a team that can be deadly on the counter attack.

Dean Smith is an idiot. If I were a Leicester fan I'd want his head on a pike right now.

The thing is everyone has to go for it now and win, rope-a-dope will get you a point but that’s worthless to Leeds and Leicester they have to go all out.

Difficulty with that is both their defences aren’t great and in pushing forward, the back door could be wide open for them both.

Both Smith and Allardyce set up pragmatically, that has no currency on Sunday, a win is the only game in town.

I will be watching all 3 games live on 3 TVS next to each other lol (do it every week watching prem games)

I pray you are right but Leicester to me are the ones who are probably favourite of the three to get a win on Sunday - they have players who can score. We have Maupay
We have players who score. Gray, Doucoure, McNeill, Iwobi and the CBs all know how to get the ball over the line.

I can see us needing a draw in any case. I refuse to believe the other two have a win in them.

No striker and no full backs in a must win game. The team hasn't won at home in ages - yeah great that it's in our hands
Yeah, it would have ben so much better had we not had it in our own hands.

...and you know Mykolenko wont start do you?

I just hope their players do stay fully committed and not just stroll about as to not get injured and miss the final.
