I don’t understand why people think Moyes will rest players with 10 days to go before a cup final.
Startings Simms or Maupay we are literally playing with 10 men..Both times Simms has started we've been peppered with long balls, the lad doesn't press.
Think how many times we've said that about certain teams/games this season...Leeds vs Spurs is honestly the least of our worries
Has anyone lumped on us to go down?
I was tempted the other day so at least I’d get something to ease the heartache slightly if it happens, but I couldn’t bring myself to do it in the end. Didn’t feel right.
Not a betting man personally, but one thing I could never do is bet against our Club...I don’t bet much but I did put £50 on us going down for £210 back.
I figure I would at least get the bleach costs covered should the unthinkable happen
Spot on.it’s strange that we are all playing at home for the last game. Saying that as an away side no disrespect but I would rather go to the king power than Elland road and Goodison park. The fans still have a massive part to play in this I feel and I hope a bear pit Goodison drags us over the line.
Bang on.On its day Goodison is a special venue and the world will see that on Sunday.
As Howard said: on these big occasions the Street End sucks the ball into the back of the net.
That black cat would have been a banger for us up frontI suspect we'll open the box and find that Everton's recruitment team failed to even sign a cat.
Oh, what might've been had this guy not decided, at the last minute on deadline day, to play in La Liga instead...
Very true.Being worried about getting accosted by fans is more likely to make them tense and retreat into themselves than to play better.
A hostile atmosphere (towards our own players) will guaranteed lead to us losing them match.
Bakayoko for meJust having five minutes walk down memory lane …
No full backs ( possibly ) and no centre fireworks so if we could take a step back in time who are the candidates to slot in ?
Full backs ,
Mitch Ward , Tony Thomas , Paul Holmes , Marc Hottiger , John O’Kane , Allesandro Pistone , Steve Sargeant
Centre Fireworks ,
John Spencer , Mikel Madar , Brett Angel , Mick Ferguson , Stuart Barlow , Mickey Walsh , Jim Pearson , David Smallman , Eammon O’Keefe
Just something to lighten the stress people …
Personal , honest choice would be ;
Right back , Gary Stevens
Left back , Leighton Baines
Centre Forward , Bob Latchford .
Nope.I don't think there is any danger of flatness of the fans this Sunday.
You're probably right. At this stage of the season, rest is infinitely more important than extra minutes.
The last thing Moyes will want is players picking up unnecessary knocks. Leicester, pushed on by the home crowd, will be flying into tackles and 50-50’s.
