If we do stay up there should be no repeat of the celebration from last year's fiasco. I totally understand the relief but the hero worship of overall failure was laughable.

Lampard stood there taking in the adulation like he's a rock star for simply solidifying any doubts about his ability was horrendous to see.
I don't agree. There was nothing in Lampard's demeanour then to cast doubts on his ability. It wasn't horrendous, it was joyful.

The people on the Titanic celebrating that they have 1 more hour to live! If you are crap (like Lampards manager ability) you should go home and hand your resignation.

But we didn't know how things were going to develop this season, did we? In fact we had a reasonable start to this season and a
lot of us thought we'd improve after mid September.

I reckon whoever goes down will be back up quick, even us
The championship looks awful whenever I watch a game and with parachute payments on top of fees for the big players that won’t drop to championship I think all three of us including Leicester will be back quickly

…not too sure on Southampton, they don’t have much quality anywhere apart from Ward-Prowse and he feels a bit Sigurdsson, hard to fit in to a line up
I'm not so sure, we have so many uncertainties.
As of today we don't have a clue who our owners, director of football or manager will be in a week's time, let alone the squad, at least half of which will no doubt leave. (thankfully)
IF we get it all right we could do very well next season but knowing our club's habit of imploding, it's a very big IF.

Well, of the three teams that went down last season - Watford and Norwich retained far more "quality" than Burnley, but neither even made the play-offs.

Last season there was a spell when we had a good margin above the borrom three, I remember especially before the Burnley game.

This season have we ever been more than 3 points above 18th? Can’t remember if we have, it just seems to have been 9 months of worry

There should be an announcement on the tannoy that fans entering the field of play at any time before, during or after the match will receive a lifetime ban from Goodison and the new stadium. The announcement can be made several times in the hour before kick off, plus at half time, and also put on the big screen.

That said, what are the FA gonna do? City just had about 10,000 fans on the field last week and there's been nothing whatsoever said about it in the media. Seems like it's only reserved for the so-called smaller teams.
