He’s hinting at shuffling the deck against Everton and experimenting with his side with next season in mind

There is probably not to many people, bar a hand full of players that would even know who plays for Bournemouth, so any changes for them may not be any different to some

Just for the record, Royle was not our manager v Wimbledon. It was Mike Walker and Royle replaced him when he was hopeless the next season.
For Kendall, there was more of a feeling of frustration and anger that we were shocking and really needed other results to go our way. We didn’t win that day. We drew and stayed up because Chelsea really tried against Bolton and beat them. Kendall was so stressed he looked like he would have a heart attack. There is a boss tweet by Don Hutchison out today about him finding Kendall in the boot room after the game in tears because we had so nearly gone down on his watch. We were a basket case that year.
I seem to remember there was a fear that Chelsea would not put in a full effort as they had a European Cup Winners Cup Final soon afterwards

Whatever team they put out will be capable of beating us, but equally we will be capable of beating whatever team they select. We need to focus on our own performance and what we can control.

If we dont perform well then we dont have much chance of winning. Bournemouth have already shown they can beat us comfortably.

Yep read the same in the Everton in the 90s book which is a decent read. Was a really botched summer trying to get in a decent manager (think Bobby Robson had just stepped down at Barca and he'd had been a real coup. Toshack was also linked which would've been more divisive but very good manager back then aswell).

So Howard was winding down at Notts County and Sheffield United and just was asked as a last resort. Would've been Brian Clough lite if team had got relegated so thankfully just crawled over the line.

I wouldn't get too excited, his 2nd eleven stuffed us easy peasy.

They signed a fair few in January that need minutes, that Ukraine CB started last week so imagine he'll continue.

Vina and Outtara played big parts in keeping them up, both were subs last weekend so interested what roles they have this weekend.

Solanke being ex-RS is concerning me a little.....

Luckily Chelsea were at home. If they'd had to go up to Bolton they'd have rested a few for sure but Vialli god bless him pretty much played full strength team and they eventually wore Bolton.

Class act and they beat Stuttgart 1-0 just three days later with Zola winner.

Wasnt the only one. I was in the upper bullens for the wimb game when the park end was being built. And then in the park end for the coventry game. All i can remember was it being a really sweaty day. The relief of staying up felt fantastic. But the knots in the stomach all day long are vile.

I'm sure 'approaches' will already have been made by an anonymous 'club representative.'
