Disgust is how I’m feeling.

Disgust of how this club has sank to new lows;
Disgust at how directors of this club have treated the fans
Disgust at how certain fans support their actions and defend them belittling us
Disgust at how overly priced players could not be arsed for 90% of the season
Disgust that we’ve almost hit the bottom of the barrel. 45 minutes away from actual obscurity
I agree with all this, but I'm just enjoying the feeling of relief for a day.

Change has to happen this summer, but I am going to enjoy it for a day, and enjoy the fact this dismal season is over but the worst somehow didn't happen!

The key difference you seem to be missing though is, Dave changed his mind when the evidence pointed that way. He was right to say we were going down under Lampard, most people saw that, then when the transfer window close d without a striker it looked bleak but it was clear through almost every game of Dyche’s reign that we were fighting and were a lot better than we had been. You just dug in and doubled down though because you can’t back a single Everton manager.

I don’t need to name names, you lot would never admit to it then and you’ll never admit to it now, you know who you are though, you revelled in spreading misery around fellow Everton fans worried about their clu , you prophesied financial liquidation gleefully, you bigged up opposition teams ridiculously, went missing when we won games, yet immediately all over us when we conceded or a result went against us.

An absolute stain on the fanbase.
Hahaha the utter state of the this

1. The reasonings were the same, lack of firepower. Which by the luck of the gods, we had teams worse than us. Second lowest scorers in the league
2. We didn’t fight under every game of Dyche, stop lying (all though that’s your M.O.)
3. You can’t name names because you’re a proven liar

And calling anyone a stain after you supported that Fat Kopite lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol

Nobody will forgive you for that, posture all you want. You’re a sellout

The other common link, no mark clubs who had midtable safety secured long before Everton in those seasons - but what happened to them next?

I wouldn't want to be bournemouth.

Thank god 20/21 was sorted before final day. Totally different beast having to go to an Arsenal and having to dig out a final day result to doing it at home to mid table team with little to play for.

Was trying to remember why the Palace game was so late on in the season, was it due to them having a cup run?

Lifeline.

We’re a year away from a game changing stadium on the docks.

We’re close to getting our books back in order, albeit funded by selling £100m of players and not replacing them.

We’ve got a manager who could keep us up next year without spending irresponsibly in the summer.

We’re a week away from announcing investment.

And.. we’re weeks away from the board being rebuilt with true world class professionals in place.

Luckily there were somehow 3 teams worse than us this season but we’re in a position to look forward now.. finally.
I'm still baffled about why people think the new stadium will change things.

Its like a crackhead moving from a crack den to a mansion, they're still a crackhead in a nicer gaff.

I feel we will lose the home advantage for a while in the new ground, don't get me wrong the stadium will be amazing but it wont solve our problems.
Things need to change in the coming weeks at every level of the club.
