I agree with all this, but I'm just enjoying the feeling of relief for a day.

Change has to happen this summer, but I am going to enjoy it for a day, and enjoy the fact this dismal season is over but the worst somehow didn't happen!
Last year was relief, this feels different. I’m just angry at the club.

If things don’t change in the summer then we may as well close the doors

Sixth favourites to go down, you’ll never sing that

I'm still baffled about why people think the new stadium will change things.

Its like a crackhead moving from a crack den to a mansion, they're still a crackhead in a nicer gaff.

I feel we will lose the home advantage for a while in the new ground, don't get me wrong the stadium will be amazing but it wont solve our problems.
Things need to change in the coming weeks at every level of the club.

It will make a difference for attracting players but mainly in revenue. If the stadium design is as good as people say, it’ll retain the home advantage.

Disgust is how I’m feeling.

Disgust of how this club has sank to new lows;
Disgust at how directors of this club have treated the fans
Disgust at how certain fans support their actions and defend them belittling us
Disgust at how overly priced players could not be arsed for 90% of the season
Disgust that we’ve almost hit the bottom of the barrel. 45 minutes away from actual obscurity

Although I am feeling extremely relieved right now, I hope the majority of this is what people will be feeling in the next few days and months until there are changes at board level. Otherwise it’s a matter of time.

I do think the players were arsed this season - certainly no Schneiderlin level “effort” - most of them are just ultimately not good enough and 17th place is probably a fair reflection of this squad’s quality.

Its easy enough, honestly, whether we do it, time will tell.
Not sure it is easy mate, there’s an awful lot to change within the club (investment, board changes, budget, targets, transfers etc, never mind the team in time for pre season but there definitely has to be a plan.

I’m so happy that the final season at Goodison will be in the Premier League.

Final full season at this moment in time. If we can't finish ahead of Luton, Bournemouth, Burnley, Sheffield United, Fulham and alike next season then we could still face the ignominy whist at Goodison. We should be able to though even if we are pants.

By the way I'm not saying we have a devine right to finish above these clubs just because we are Everton, it's because our wage bill is about a gazillion times more..

Gravy looks down in his post match interviews. Not sure why. Mission accomplished….another massive pay day for a few weeks work
It’s not easy to try and save a team from relegation whilst also negotiating the new sponsorship deal for the club from Bisto you know
