Don't count out Palace - since the restart, they've beat Bournemouth 2-0, but been smashed at home by Fulham and Spurs, knocked out the cup by Southampton, then well beaten by a wobbling Chelsea - their next 9 games (until April) are United twice, Newcastle, Brighton, Brentford, Liverpool, Villa, City and Arsenal. They could very easily be going into April with (generously) 3 wins in 16

Talisman only six months on his deal and clearly desperate to leave too
I'm not counting on palace. I said the 8 teams from bottom to 13th.

I know; that's why I said they could definitely fall into the mire, they're the 9th team from bottom to 12th!

Regardless though we agree - plenty of sides with big problems who could spiral like us; Leicester for example have terrible fixtures until April, and an absentee board of their own. If the club can act decisively, we will stay up!

Oh sorry, yeah. I see what you mean.

Vieira is a good manager though and I cant see Palace falling into this relegation fight. Those top teams wont want to face Palace either.

Man City fan in peace here, I genuinely hope Everton FC escape the dreaded drop, like my club going back into the late 80's and 90's under terrible ownership with Peter Swales and later Francis Lee its totally soul destroying watching a club you love gradually going down hill over decade after decade through gross mis management. All i will say is your new stadium could be the saving grace of your club, City moved into what was then the commonwealth stadium ,and it was that that attracted City's owners and the undeveloped land around it as buyers. Why would any investor want to buy the red crap over the road for circa £4-5 billion quid, when you could buy a genuine big club like Everton for say £1-2 billion? What else is there left for a potential buyer to do at Liverpool? When investing in a club like Everton would be far more satisfying and watching the sleeping giant grow into a genuine top drawer club. You have a trump card in the new stadium, id say you're primed for a big takeover-one that could firmly put those dirty red neighbours of yours very firmly in there place over time.

Again, i wish you all the best for the remainder of the season, its a well used cliche in football but just get behind the team no matter who's in charge, whether that be Lampard or Dyche or whoever.
Good luck.

To not replace his goalscoring or ability is criminal. There's been trials at The Hague for less.
It's been an appalling failure of judgement. But we shouldn't think Richarlison cant be replaced.

We need an attacker or two in; but we also need another manager with a different attitude to setting up in games and changing things in-game to be appointed.

Oh I agree, the issue is that we are now joint bottom, how do you get a player of a similar caliber to join?

Not similar calibre. We needd a fora=wrad who can get a goal or two. Preferable a coupl of forwards. Most of all we need a change of manager. FL thinks failure is acceptable now.

Well said. TBH I - along with many others on here - have been as much a City fan as an Everton fan the past 5 years, cheering every strike that prevents those dirty shower of red murdering bastards lifting another title.

It was bad (and destructive) enough with lockdown measures....
