It’s not a done deal by any stretch but have you seen us play lately, can’t defend and can’t create/score. Add that onto the fact that the fans want blood, any blood, at the moment and the board are absolutely clueless and skint. Meanwhile, all our rivals are adding new faces to their squad while we recall Ellis simms for no apparent reason.I cant understand anyone who says the jig is up for us in this situation.
Even if we just get a new manager in and replace Frank - who has been appalling - we'll improve our lot.
I'm surprised you fell in with the death cult.
Some people just want a bonfire and to stand around watching it burn I supposae.
I see what these people are doing:If we go down and it’s an if, I intend to go down swinging, hope until there isn’t, Come On Everton!
Yes, mate. I also hold this manager responsible for a good deal of it and his successor cant possibly be any worse. And I also believe we'll add to the squad in the next couple of weeks. It’s not a done deal by any stretch but have you seen us play lately, can’t defend and can’t create/score. If its so easy to escape relegation, why are you crying at the fanbase for protesting? It's certain that we'll be relegated...I mean look how far off 14th place we are...and we only have 57 points left to play for....

....how can we be expected to make that gap up with so few games left?
So let's set fire to the club and get into the Championship for 10 years....we'll be great in 2033.
The manager is inept, I think, sadly, we have all come to see he is a fish out of water, he’s reactive, poor tactically and has no plan b. Hopefully we see some incomings in the coming weeks, even only loans. Can’t be any worse than what we have.Yes, mate. Why on earth would people simply believe we'll be relegated when we're so close to being safe and with 57 points to play for? That's the type of thinking you see more logically around Easter.
There;'s a huge danger of wish-fulfilling ourselves into the Championship here.
Oh that’s alright then. I guess the four games before then don’t matter..I believe the window closes on the 31st of January.
We need back to back good results. If we get that then confidence rockets. The manager is inept, I think, sadly, we have all come to see he is a fish out of water, he’s reactive, poor tactically and has no plan b. We haven’t won in 9, lost 4 on the spin at home for the first time in 60 years and have lost to a number of teams around us. And in truth we’ve never looked like winning any of them games either, that’s where the fear comes from. We don’t have a Brazilian 9 running himself into the ground, clearly loved the club, dragging himself and his team through games anymore. Instead we have Dominic Calvert-Lewin ambling around and Anthony Gordon doing whatever he does.
I don’t agree with your last paragraph mate, the board and the team are taking us there without a fight, not even a wimper at the moment. A new manager could perhaps arrest the slump.
We have one left before it shuts. What's done is done.Oh that’s alright then. I guess the four games before then don’t matter..
I see what these people are doing:
Half of them are doing the reverse psychlogy thing of saying one thing and hopeing for another outcome; nothing too wrong with that. Itls a natrura; rtndency i suppoise.
But the orther half are a bit more driven: they want the chance to focus on the board - to bring them down - and to do that they have to present our situation in the league as hopeless.
I see it.
The comical thing is that this board are nothing. They exercise no power and are puppets. Moshiri is the one who does all that, and he;s going nowhere. He'll be upping cold one's on his yaht in the Med and nothing will get to him. If HM Gvernment have left him alone, no one can touch him.
The board will fall soon under the weight of their own redundancy and inertia.
Absolutely spot on mate. The he said she said stuff is a waste of time and energy. Worse it’s creating a toxic atmosphere for the team, while we aren’t signing anyone with the publicity around the club and a manger who’s going from game to game.
The whole mess undermining us. Good intentions but the wrong time, it’s just self abuse ultimately as it will deplete our safety chances, the priority has to be to stay up all else is irrelevant right now. Best thing that can happen next is Lampard gets sacked.
Nothing is going to happen between now and the summer, bar a token sacrifice or appointment at board level - tbh would be lunacy making changes in our position and timing. Ultimately Moshiri is gone and Bill is gone it’s just timing now - no coming back from events at the weekend, but very unlikely to be before the summer - so the time in between has to be the focus.
Same lad who told me about the club statement coming out earlier, told me that Moshiri checked out of day to day Everton after Benitez left and Frank came in, anything from Feb on is the board, before that he was into everything. These days his role is looking for investment, while he gets the final say in the macro big hitting things, but he’s going to absent from this point on. The board will be gone in the summer I suspect.
It’s hunker down time, the only thing achievable now, is not getting relegated, three prirtues are 1) sack Lampard, 2) Make signing and balance the squad, 3) We all come out swininging be a sure we the fight of our lives on our hands.
If we go, we need to go swinging.
Absolutely spot on mate.
We're a terrible run club with an awful board that need to go? Tell us something we dont know.
Moshiri might be on the sidelines but the investment he watches over needs protecting. Lampard will feel the axe coming down on him the day after any defeat to WHU is my guess. Itls a preposterous postion to believe this goes on with defeat after defeat without change.
If we get the right man in and a signing or two I'd have to say we stand about as much of a chance of the other basket case clubs down there...and they all are basket cases too despite picking up the odd point or win every month.
