We’re getting relegated as I said months and months before. Lampard should have been gone by the worldcup break. Delusional fans wanted an unproven Lampard in?!? No idea why lol
Now our fans are pestering Gordon and Mina this will make them not want to play for us 100% and Gordon is our only decent winger when he tries.
The club is finished mate and you can thank the fans they’re toxic af and embarrassing.
Also the owner for not having a backbone and giving in to what the fans want!!! Psychopath fans.

Seriously big issues.
Fans called for Silva’s head for what!!!!
If we still had Silva then Richarlison would’ve never left.

The problem isn’t just the board it’s the all around toxicity of the fans and board as a whole.

It was a fun ride but it’s over now.
We’re embarrassing af.
A lot of very good points here although Richarlison only left becuase of Moshiri and his FFP, saying that he might of wanted to go anyway, we will never know, but because of how Farhad he worked everything we never stood a chance of keeping him.
Also it's not just Gordon and Mina, most of the squad won't want to start for us now, we're done

Always felt there were at least 3 worse teams last year, and getting rid of Benitez gave a positivity boost even though we got no new manager bounce.
There aren't three worse teams this year, those candidates are picking up form
The difference is this year the bottom of the table is a lot closer and we have a lot more time to get out of it.

It's a spiral at the moment, we've been heading this way for many years since moshiri has stepped foot on the door.
Bill told us this story of how he wanted to take the club further but didn't have the money.
Then farad came in and we thought that was the answer, we threw money around like it was Monopoly game.
Now we can't throw money at the problem due to ffp the chickens have come home to hatch.
I unfortunately think that's us done with the prem for a number of years a d will do the similar route to Leeds.
It's going to be painful and slow, but we need to get rid of the rot down to the foundations and rebuild.
The question is now will moshiri sell in the summer or will he hang on until the stadium is complete

Some of these posts parroting Moshiris laughable deflection that the fans are somehow culpable for the clubs woeful state are absurd. Years of inept systemic mismanagement have created this shambolic and precarious reality. I don't know if it's due to Moyes lengthy tenure as a stabilizing presence that lead to seasons we were able to overachieve with sparse funds but I notice a tendency to romanticize retaining managers for a significant period of time so they can perfect the project of building the ideal squad but unfortunately that scenario is not a common one and when managers even experienced and skilled ones fall into the abyss of losing an extensive series of games it becomes unsalvageable and honestly as flawed in his managerial selection I don't believe any of the sackings were rash. As demonstrated currently silva is a decent manager in the right environment. At the time of his dismissal he was never going to recover as football is a momentum game and when its pinned the team back you have to make alterations like introduce a new manager, obviously I'm not talking about slumps but grim scenarios where you've only won 3 games out of 19 which any sensible club would sack the manager and even though recruitment has been baffling , extremely sluggish and incoherent it's still on Frank to produce results.

Once again the club has failed the fans and the manager by not providing adequate player options to thrive in the league and now has stuttered in sacking frank which will lead to a farce of several weeks zeroing in on his eventual replacement when it inevitably happens as resurrecting this form isnt possible for even a resourceful manager much less a mediocre one like frank

Just checked the next six matches of ourselves, Southampton, West Ham, Bouremouth, Wolves & Leicester City - the current bottom six teams. I completed an unbiased forecast of the next 6 games for all six clubs and have us rock bottom on 17 points, Wolves next on 19 points, Bournemouth on 20 points, Leicester on 21 points, West Ham on 22 points & Southampton on 27 points. It's looking bleak............

Don't be silly, Wolves will have more than 19 points.

Southampton have won 4 all season, and were awful against us. You have them winning 4 of their next 6!?

Point well made and the gap is indeed very narrow. Back to back wins and other favourable results lifts us several places. Issue is we cant buy a win and clean sheets are an absent memory.

I have been thinking along these lines myself. I don't know how people still cling to the notion that we can somehow save ourselves without any sign of a spark from the players or manager. I don't see who we can attract to inject some creativity and discipline into this team in the short time left. We need to be thinking about clearing the decks and building for next season.

I've been wondering what a realistic aim is going to be next season in the Championship, that's how resigned to it I am.

We'll win against Bournemouth on the last day of this season after we've already been confirmed to be relegated and Bournemouth are safely midtable and on the beach.
Tom Davies will be man of the match and pundits will be frothing at the mouth at the prospect of him ripping up the championship…match of the day might replay the ‘orgasm’ out of sheer excitement.
