Sorry to be doom and gloom, feeling jaded as a fan right now. A look at the table shows its not a lost case. Clubs around us bringing players in worries me.

If we dropped I'd take that at the start of the season.

Given how poor our finances apparently are now whilst in the Prem, we would be in massive trouble a league down. Derby sized trouble possibly.

Thing is, I'd agree completely if we weren't so close to about 5 or 6 teams. Can't see 3+ of them winning 7 or 8 either.

We need to start grinding out points, even if it's getting a few draws. Losing to West Ham would add to the task we have ahead and I only see that outcome unfortunately.

I don’t disagree but in the last 8 games they’ve also lost to Southampton away , lost to be Brentford & drawn with us at home and lost to United . They’ve hardly been pulling up tried

I can see a team staying up with 32/34 points this season.

No chance of 32 staying up for me..

We are going to need a minimum of 6 wins. We will lose 10+.

35/36 might be enough. 6 wins and a few draws are going to be needed.

We need to stop getting beat to our relegation rivals starting on Saturday. That's giving all those teams such an advantage, it's ridiculous how poor we have been in those fixtures alone.

I think above all else, we need attacking reinforcements.

I think we've got what it takes to stay up everywhere but the final third.

Danjuma plus A.N. Other could well be enough.

If we then start firing under Lampard, great. If not, I think we've still got a chance to change manager and bounce ourselves over the line.

I've not given up hope yet, but it's certainly not going to be easy.
