Main downside of going down will be having to listen to all the melodramatic arl da's talking about how we're finished and will do a Leeds.

Can't see us staying up this season we've given Frankel too many 6 pointers to blow.

I wouldn't expect us to come straight back up, but it would be a new season so we would have to hold some hope at least at the beginning, otherwise what's the point?

The Championship seems to be very much a horses for courses competition, and you can be like Norwich have been and yo-yo between the leagues.

I'm not optimistic for staying up based on what I see, but in the longer-term if there is no hope at all, why bother?

No new players, no stay up, that's the top and bottom of it and even new signings aren't a guarantee of anything. The squad and manager look defeated, we've seen this film before, why prolong the inevitable. He tried his best but it's not working, he has found out why we as a club just exists to make up the numbers. He isn't used to losing so much.

Not sure a new manager changes much, we'll still struggle to create anything and slot anything. Only positive is a possible new manager bounce but I wouldn't bank on it.

The only saving grace at this point is the fact we aren't cut adrift from anyone else in the bottom 7. But that is only a very small saving grace as we all know this squad is unlikely to be able to conjure up the required 7 or 8 wins from the remaining games

I want to know why you think the people running the show are suddenly going to start making better decisions in the Championship.

Impossible to predict if we'll come straight back up or struggle in the championship. Teams I'd previously expected to bounce straight back from the championship have struggled. Other teams who I thought have been completely woeful in the EPL have managed to bounce straight back. I'm not sure if being a 'big name club' will help or hinder us. I do think having recent experience at championship football probably helps a club when it's relegated from the EPL. It certainly doesn't hinder a club.

The horrible thing is that I look at our remaining fixtures and think that I can't see us winning any bar the last one against Bournemouth. And then I remember that they have already thrashed us twice this season
And then I cry
And then I have a drink

Yeah it's currently any three from 7, but our problem is we keep losing to those side, we only had too win 2 of them to be 13th.
I can't ever remember a season were after 20 games there wasn't one side who are as good as gone

they dont have the fight to stay up they wont have the fight to come back either
can expect a couple of seasons at least in the Championship, by then previous Premier League pedigree means squat

They aren't up for the fight at all. I feel like if you offered some them relegation and the season ends now they'd take it.

I think we need to appoint a manager with the knowledge that he may have to get us out of the Championship next season. Dyche appears to tick that box.

Nuno is the other one to look at as well. He got Wolves out of that division. Neither are exciting appointments but it's where we are now.

The worrying thing for me is Southampton have got Prowse, Leeds have got Gnonto, West Ham have got Ings & Rice, Forest have Lingaard, Wolves have Cunha. Where is our superstar to save us? Calvert-Lewis cannot do it all himself.

I think you are fooling for even thinking DCL is the guy based on his current form. Our best outfield player currently is Onana or Gray and both of those have been inconsistent too.

We are in trouble
